And oh yeah, Wade at 5 is laughable for anyone who watched Miami in both the regular season and playoffs. He did not play like D Wade. He actually hurt the team in the beginning of the year when he decided to try to come back too soon from his injury.

I would have voted for Rose, but I feel that this coming season D-Will will do much better with a better team to work with. It's not like he was a scrub last year either, he put up excellent numbers without really trying, although to be sure he was on a poor team and had the ball the majority of the time. I can't say that Rose will be himself if and when he comes back next year.

I really don't know what to do with Rose in this ranking, he would have been here by now if he was healthy, and ranking him lower than normal just looks weird, but he'll probably get voted in somewehere. Wish he was 100%

Isn't Rose looking at a late season comeback? Like post All-Star break? If that's the case, then he can't reasonably have a top 10, 15, or even 20 impact next season. With that said, I'll probably vote for him in the top 10-15 range but I'm guessing he won't last that long.

For this spot, basing it largely on what he did in the 2012 playoffs, I'm voting for Rondo.

If I had more faith in him staying healthy and being in shape for the entire season, I'd vote for Carmelo. So if it gets to the end, and Melo has a semi-comfortable lead and just needs a couple or three more votes to get to 25, you can change my vote to him.

If you are basing this on the upcoming season, then Rose should be excluded since he won't be back til March. Healthy Rose is definitely Top 5 and as good as Kobe/CP3 though.

I will change my vote to Rondo since this playoffs he showed why he is Top 10 material. Melo/D-Will should really be left out of Top 10, all they do is chuck on bad teams and play lazy. Motivated D-Will on a better team maybe Top 10, though Tony Parker has a case as well. But Melo, no way in hell is Top 10, he is too one-dimensional, but unlike Durant not as consistent, Kevin lwas scoring champ with a top 5 scorer and the sixth man of the year on his team, that's amazing. It's irrelevant how versatile you are when Durant can put up better numbers shooting jumpers all day. Even Damn Westbrook was a better scorer than Melo this past season. I have no idea how one is considered "best scorer in NBA" without a single scoring title or even being Top 5 in scoring this year. Lebron had much easier time vs Melo's "arsenal" of mediocrity.

*He lead the Celtics till Game 7 against the Heat when Rose/Westbrook couldn't do the same with much superior supporting cast?

Finally, he is 26 and entering his prime with Celtics having a perfect team built around him

He can't shoot and the other team doesn't even really guard him so screw his shooting % they treat him like it's a shootaround. He screws up 4 fastbreaks a game. He gets credit for his teammates all the time. He's overrated.
