Not as good as those all natural eucalyptus deos but about 1/3 the price. Doesn't stick or leave residue. Lasts 16+ hours even in the summer. Smells nice but not very strong so it doesn't clash if your wearing some kind of cologne.

I don't use deodorant.

Really? If I didn't use Deodorant I'd smell awful. I don't even have much pit hair or sweat alot. I don't use it when I'm just hanging at the house and even with a shower you eventually smell some B.O.

I rock Adidas mostly. Always end up getting a few off those shower packs for X-Mas.

I only get a bit of BO if I have an interview or a test so I only use it 2-3 times a year.

Gillette Clear Gel. Most other deodorants bother my skin. I get an allergic reaction, most probably from the perfumes. The Clear Gel works great for me.

I used Old Spice for a good two or three years, but I grew tired of the smell and ended up not liking it. Did Axe for a little bit, hated that. I really like Dove.

I know. They all smell too similiar to me. I just ended up not liking them. Before I bought Dove for Men a month ago for the first time I went through Walmart and opened each Old Spice and just didn't like any of them. I spent like 10 minutes smelling deodorant. :oldlol:

Girls love the smell of BANG.

As for Old Spice, the only decent one is Fiji.

I use a Dove brand. I try to stay away from any antiperspirant stuff, supposedly leads to cancer. Makes sense, since it is natural to sweat.

Yeah that's true. Untrained noses(regular people like you and me) have a hard time picking out individual notes.

Luckily I don't have a huge problem with sweating. I try to stay away from those as well.

Actually he's right, sweat itself doesn't smell...

Sweat itself does not in fact smell. The familiar smell of body odour, or B.O, comes from normal skin bacteria breaking down the sweat secretions released from the sweat glands.

Body odour mainly originates from the apocrine glands in the armpits, which release a thick, oily sweat rich in proteins and lipids which bacteria on the skin feed on.

The warm, damp conditions of the armpit are also a perfect environment for bacteria to thrive in and create smelly odours. Body odour occurs during exercise and when we feel strong emotions, because these are the triggers for the apocrine gland to secrete sweat.

Body odour begins during puberty. This is because the apocrine glands, which are involved in causing body odour, begin to function from puberty. As we age, our apocrine glands slow down in function, which means that elderly people tend to have less body odour.

I stand corrected.

But doesn't that sweat have a direct correlation with the skin? So while the sweat itself may not smell, doesn't the moisture of the skin the stanky funky shit?

It's the bacteria. If you literally just took sweat and drained it into a cup while you sweat it would be nothing more than salty water for the most part and wouldn't have an odor at all.

But don't you guys not like the feeling of sweat in your armpits even if it's stenchless? Yes I have encountered some irritating deodorant before but Irish Spring feels like you put nothing and it keeps your pits dry for 16 hours+

Doesn't really bother me. I don't sweat an awful lot on my pits when I exercise. Most of it is my back and forehead. Plus it's just natural to sweat. I'm fine sweating to cool my body down. I just use the deodorant to help with any smell.

shave pits = less surface area for bacteria + less danky environment for bacteria = maybe less smell. probably doesn't matter tho if you're wearing a shirt.

but ur right, sweat starts to, like, run freely and gets annoying if you're wearing a shirt.

oh, and shaving ur pits lets the deodorant stick on better. if you have any q's, ask the man who taught me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1kXwo8VCkc

Cheap chocolate. Axe shower gels are pretty good though. Their deodorants are just extremely cheap, strong colognes.

i actually like old spice. keeps my sweat down, doesn't leave a strange residue and smells decent...like a strong soap. nothing too fragrancy which i like. using 'sweat defense' brand right now.

anybody tried brut? i really like the scent but it did an absolutely horrible job at absorbing sweat. shit just made me all slimy and eventually stink :oldlol:

There's a lot of scents that I like but companies don't use them in 'masculine' products so sometimes I borrow my mom's white citrus lotion or orange mango burst body wash.

Old Spice smells great man. I don't know if I used anything but that since I started as a boy.

I'm in love with it. Ever since I've used it, the long lasting shit it has makes it worth purchasing alone, but the smell also is a plus. Never had a problem using it highly recommend it. I have a bad BO when I do start sweating so trust me.
