he's gonna be a beast.. his problem in LA was not having a relationship with mike brown. they hated each other. bynum sat on the bench during every time out
that made him pretty unmotivated. he didnt care half the time
on his own team with a coach who believes in him will bring the best out of him
laker fans might say "damn we should have kept a guy who puts up 25/12"
but he never would have helped LA
even when they won titles he was nowhere to be found

Why is he wearing 33 now? Is 17 taken or retired? Does 33 have any significance in Philly? Just seems odd because I thought he picked 17 specifically because that was the age he was drafted as the youngest player to play in an NBA game. Anyway enjoy Drew Philly! He's kind of ... strange but after he "gets his zen on" he will be a beast. :applause:

17 isn't in use or retired. He may have wanted to move on to a new number in a new place, but I assumed he'd go with 24 to signify his new age in his new place, but then realized it's retired.

I'm not so sure about that. The Sixers best player now is the most dominant center in the game when he's on. The Celtics massive hole is at the 5 and no way in hell KG is guarding Bynum in a series even if he is an elite defender. Not to mention Sixers pushed Boston to 7 last year and always play them tough. I think Sixers and Celtics will go to 7 again if they meet but Bynum has a real chance to demolish the Celtics weak 5's. Celtics are an old team yet another year older.... Sixers have a young core that should grow from within.
As for BEAT LA chants it's obviously because Bynum is coming from the Lakers and a supportive gesture.

Yes, lower merion is considered a suburb of Philly.
Kobe is actually apart of that unique fanbase that u speak of, he is a diehard eagles fan.
I've never heard Kobe speak of the Eagles or seen him wear any kind of Eagles gear. He's spoken of being a big soccer fan but that's all I've ever heard of.
