Out of the top 10 players ever, Kobe has been possibly the luckiest. Since joining the Lakers, he has only experienced about a 3 year window in which they were not stacked/holding contender status.

and I'm telling you those are the reasons they claim yet when you apply logic to the situation it falls apart. If I said I hate you because you are a Knicks fan but don't hate any other people for being a fan of the Knicks then the notion that my hate for you has anything to do with the Knicks is unfounded.

It's pretty easy to do. Pretty much everything good that happened around Kobe happened despite him. So titles and whatnot really belong to Shaq and Pau and whatever. Everytime longevity is brought up it's his 16th season, everytime people want to neglect his first 3 season's stats it's his 14th season, as if the first 3 don't count for his stats.

We know he had help. Aside from 04-07, he has played on stacked teams his while career. Him and his agent manipulated the draft just so he wouldn't end up on rebuilding team. Kobe hasn't nearly had to put in the hard work as some of the other greats.

Iverson's 2001 team was pretty decent and he wasn't alone for his whole career. Those Nuggets teams weren't that bad imo.

Imo SG is a position that can carry a team the least. Even Jordan had good to great teams.
