:applause:   OMFG, this has to be straight out of a satirical sports comedy about black athletes and stereotypes. This is way too good to be true. This has to be some kind of comedy skit.

BAHAHAHA, he making those scared white kids dance to his rap songs, and even bumps some biggie later on.

I can never look at mild mannered, ole laid back D Scott the same again. Man, he acts so damn calm on NBA TV.

Has he commented this on NBA TV? And have they made fun of him for it on the show? :lol

"He told the children not to ask for his autograph, but rather to ask him about the rage that exists inside him"
We quote this around my house all the time. One of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard come out of a news reporter's mouth.

Also, the "previously on Ready to Die". . .too perfect.

And finally, "If you scared, say you scared, 'cause I ain't scared."

Well, there's also that moment when he stops and flexes toward those two little girls.

There's just too much to handle in this video.

SLAM had a Q & A with him a year after this happened and they talked about it, but I don't remember Scott being terribly resentful or anything. I can't remember for sure though.

Kinda of weird seeing this.

You would never think he would do something like this if you watch him on NBA TV.

If you guys are interested, here's an article from '97 on the incident: http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/articles/13122/a-very-bad-rap

"I wasn't really paying attention until I heard [Scott] say, 'I'm going to give my own concert! I'm going to give my own concert!'" Troxell recalls. "And then he walks up to this little kid who couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 years old, and he yells, 'Barney can do it!' That's when I started thinking something really bizarre was happening."

Too funny especially cuz his game was all shooting 3. he never did shit else. It's not like he's some hardcore physical player.

and yea the rage line was classic. it's like what... and he's talking about contracts? Wow...

And Orlando immediately dumped him and that literally was the end of his career as he never got himself back to what he was.

Drugs are bad.

Hahaha....he must have been on drugs.
I sat with him and a few mutual friends at the Detroit/Lakers finals, he had gained well over 100 pounds since his playing days....the only game the Lakers won. I haven't seen him since.

The dudes a sissy. Getting all loud and serious with a bunch of kids. He was always soft and out of shape as a player, that's why his career sucked.

"Get that shit outta here Dennis." Just on a Dennis Scott note, the record he held that Ray Allen had to beat for most three pointers in a season wasn't even legit. He set that joke of a record during 1996 during one of the line shortened seasons.

In all fairness that was in 1997. That's over 15 years ago.

Do some of you think he would've done this again today at his current age?

1. Nobody would come to a Dennis Scott basketball camp in 2012.

2. Yes he would if he was still ****ed up on drugs.
