I don't think so. Kobe had a good case, but Danny Manning was overall better imo, mainly because of his scoring efficiency. Kobe definitely had more memorable games that season as a 6th man, though.

I like Kobe, i just dont prefer the gamestyle/mindset he has (shot selection for example, a bit of selfishness is not a secret).... am more fond of shooters like Bird, Reggie, Ray and point-guards / point-forwards like Penny, Lebron, CP3, Pippen, prime Hill, Bird, Magic, Stockton, Nash and so on....

But i love his footwork for example and he is ofcourse fun to watch when he is actually hitting shots at an efficient rate, had always respect for Kobe, hard to say that about all his fans though... you may see me take shots at Kobe but its more of a retaliation (using only facts) towards a Lebron hating Kobe fan that most often made an incorrect or simply ignorant opinion/statement
