Most players who endorse Adidas are injury prone, so it is a good thing that Kobe switched.

I have a few adidas shoes and the biggest issue with it is comfort particularly the width of the shoe. It's way too narrow. Most shoes are better than Adidas. Their designs/looks are cool but they aren't that comfortable to wear.

I remember a commercial playing during the 01 finals where Kobe lifted a shroud off the Kobe 2's and they show them for a split second before the commercial ended. I then begged from June til November to get a pair and spent all my birthday money on those boats. Walked out of Finish Line with a sparkly Adidas box and never felt more accomplished. Refs would make fun of me at the free throw line and asking me why I was wearing anvil's on my feet :lol

The II's were very similar to the I's...but with hidden laces...when you balled in them he foam on the sides would bendand rease very badly...poor design IMO but a very inovative shoe (look and tech wise)

zoom Kobe2's....nike ****** down the house with this one....this shoe is top shelf design with supreme basketball comfort...a little on the heavy sie...but this shoe is tight. The yellow mid sole is cool with a unique design...the strap works well and the stitching makes a very asthetically pleasing shoe to look at.

WTF. Crazylights are the most over-hyped bball shoe right now. AND THEY ARE SHlT. Lightweight is great, but when it's at the expense of proper support and comfort... useless.

I own a sneaker boutique, i did adidas last year (my first year). They sold well, but almost every customer complained about foot pain, saying they wouldn't break-in at all. Had a few people get hurt in them... I won't carry Adidas bball in my store until they change what they're doing.
