It's DONE:

Here's a video:

This font was never used on our old jerseys before.
With Nash Gone, it only makes sense to change the uniforms as well.

Notice the BLACK outline of the court:
Also, I've just noticed that it still reads SUNS from both sides!! That's a nice touch.

* Thx to NBA4EVER for the 2nd pic!

Perhaps a black/orange combo unis to follow?

The last ones to use that colorway were DOPE!!

Court looks nice. I would love to see them go back to the old black jerseys, so much better then the current ones!

If you switch the wins and losses from their record it still reads as the same record too. It's representing a mirror reflection of mediocrity.

Unlike the Nets, who would be 44-22 and 3rd in the Conference... if they switch their wins/losses lmao

Yeah, after a quick check I also found it on the Suns' official twitter account.

Good luck with your re-build too. ATL could also change their court imo

I find it hilarious that Nets fans have become so arrogant after they just picked up a couple of bloated contracts and signed Brook Lopez to an absurd extension. The Suns might actually be a better team than them as currently constructed, and they have been built by a GM with a brain.

Anyway, new court looks great. Looking forward to any uniform changes or what the black alternate will look like.

I'm a Nets fan and I'm not arrogant at all. Most of us are just happy we have a roster that can actually compete with good teams now. And with the East so wide open who knows what will happen this season. I'm just concerned for Brook Lopez's foot.

But on the topic, it looks sick. Can't wait to see their jerseys. It seems like there's a lot of new jerseys and logos this off-season.

So they're phasing out purple and using black as a primary color?

LOL Says the Nets fan. If the Suns are a mediocre franchise when they at least have 4th highest all time winning percentage at 56%, what does that make the Nets with their pathetic losing record of 44%, 25th worst in the league right there with the Clippers, Raptors, Grizzlies, Bobcats etc?

Wow that's a big change. I hope they stick with the purple and orange though. Not every team can use black.

Not that is nice looking (from what is posted above), unlike the Nets' court.

It appears so...
No purple in sight anywhere on that court.

I had only seen the first photo showing just midcourt and was undecided, but after seeing more, I kind of like it.

I read somewhere that new jerseys are coming probably in the next year or two. As of now, they've already done their photoshoots with the old jerseys on, so I doubt they'd change so quickly.

How this turned to a Suns vs. Nets thread I will never know.

But both teams make an interesting study in rebuilding. Nets putting all their eggs in one basket and seeing it blow up in their face twice. They do have a nice team right now albeit at the cost of three losing seasons (and the draft picks), and some bloated contracts.

The Suns in the meantime decided to rebuild quietly, opting to get players that nobody else wanted. (Dragic, Scola, Beasley). Since they didn't really blow up the team, they can't really be helped much by their draft position, but still got a good player out of it.

Not sure why the Suns would change just because Nash left. Players come and go but teams stay a lot longer. I guess the Suns want to announce to the world that they are moving on without Nash. :confusedshrug:

On the very 1st photo there is still a colour to go on outside the suns name where there are tape outlines, purple could go in there, or I guess it could be black. I hope they keep the purp tho.

And god damnit dumbass professional teams, STOP ADDING BLACK FOR NO REASON. You're the SUNS. THE SUNS. You provide LIGHT. BRIGHT THINGS LIKE ORANGE AND RED AND YELLOW AND WHITE. SUNNNNNNN. NOT CHARCOAL OR OLD DRY HORSESHIT. SUNNNNNNN. :facepalm

I agree. I like the design only if they maybe had a little more color on the suns logo in the middle. The phoenix fire bird would have looked awesome around that suns logo.

I'm not much of a fan of the two-tone wood theme going around right now. This might sound ridiculous, but I think I might prefer the colored-in area inside the three point line as opposed to the darker hardwood. It just feels bland and disjointed now. I do not like Minnesota's court for the same reason.

By colored-in area, I meant like this, because at that point, the color usually matched the color of the team, where the darkened wood is just... darkened wood; another random shade:

Close.

It's called an ambigram search Google for some nice ones.

Ambidextrous is a name for a person who's equally skilled with both hands.

Well, either way... not sure how much I like the new logo in the middle of the court. It's a bit plain and boring looking compared to the old one which was flashy, colorful, and unique. I'll have to see how it looks during games though.

From the pictures, it just seems like it's missing something....

I would like it more if it was a deep orange, with dark red+dark purple as accent colors... kind of like a "Phoenix SunSET/SunRISE" theme, like the Sunset on the old era, sunrise on the new era. Could have had a lot of potential.
