I don't think so. The monochrome jerseys are even more plain. They are just one base color, with another color pencilling in the number and the team name.

Those are terrible. They need to have a retro jersey with pink, green, and yellow like the used to have in their logo.

I dont like them, if for no other reason, because I believe this to be the stepping stone to putting brand names and sponsors on the jersey. It truly looks like a euro jersey, minus the sponsorship.

Step One: Recreate the jersey with the Number and team name in new positions. Baby step the fans into liking the new jersey.

Step two: Add a few main sponsors on the front of the jersey, close to the team name.

Step Three: Well they havent complained too much thus far, patch on every sponsor we can find.

I really dont want to have this sport sell out with all this in your face marketing. Its already bad enough. COUGHjackatthehalfCOUGH COUGHcarlsjrplayerofthegameCOUGH.

Not a big fan at all like the color scheme as others have mentioned but the alignment of the logo and number make the jersey look amateur. Did the Spurs not have a similar alternate pre-2005? It was grey as well but much better than this.
