On NBA Open Court, Shaq's complaining about Howard has reached ridiculous levels. He has LITERALLY JUST STATED that he was NOT the first option on the Lakers to prove a point that Dwight is not producing well enough. He says it was all cause of the triangle and he took advantage, but believes he WASN'T the first option. DAFUQ is this man smoking, the haterade juice is STRONG in this one.

I'm sure his argument is based off of him getting his touches through the system, while Kobe would jack up shots out of the offensive flow.
But Shaq was the number one option, based on the offense actually being built to get him the ball.
Fact is, he's just doing this for publicity. He has a point in his opinion that Dwight may not be as capable of playing in the post as Bynum or maybe even Lopez (though I don't even know if Brook has an argument here), and he just won't let it go. It seems as if he's trying to push Dwight, but has allowed it to get personal. Dwight isn't as dominant as the great bigs of each past era...but certainly the best right now.

You're right, and what your saying is what the TNT crew was TELLING him. He refused to acknowledge this.

The Dwight vs Bynum discussion came up, and everyone brought up how Dwight had more experience in being the #1 option over Bynum. Shaq then says "But I was never the #1 option either.

He did kind of unintentionally admit to it being a personal disdain for Dwight by saying that it's Dwight's fault for comparing himself to Shaq by giving himself that nickname and that as such he should be held up to those standards.
But it's like damn Shaq, we're not asking who you prefer or who you like, we're asking who is the best big man in the game TODAY!! To put Robin (Brook) Lopez into that discussion without even knowing dudes name is just the ultimate disrespect.

I love the butthurt. :facepalm He even says it. If new style, pick n roll/euro then Dwight Howard. He's just more into old style with guys with their backs to the basket. Refute that dumbfvcks. You know you can't call Dwight Howard a back to the basket player. Stop you bullsh!t.

- of course Shaq was the first option if he had great position inside..
- but who was the man with the ball in his hands during the most important parts of the game?
- who was the man doing everything on the court and facilitating the offense...who was the man with the ball that created everything?
- the answer is always Kobe!
- Shaq was Dominat inside...Kobe was Dominant everywhere

Lol, Shaq had the ball in his hands most of the time during important moments. Shaq's dominance allowed Kobe and Fisher to create so easily.

Love this shit! Dwight is so far removed from the list of great big men, it's a shame that he's currently the best in the game. Once he looses his hops his game will go straight to the gutter.

Ive been sayin this for years. Do people realise kobe lead the lakers in fga's per game since 2000-2001
Kobe was the leader. He set up his team mates as the main play maker and took the most shots. Shaq just averaged 1-2 more ppg cause he shot 60% ...
Shaq was more efficient.

Then his selfish a** should've stayed with the Lakers, instead of acting like a spoiled child, taking his ball and going home. He was the senior of the 2, so he should've known better to put business ahead of personal issues. Nobody knew they were feuding til Shaq started running his mouth off in press conferences. Shaq SAID he wanted to be the MDE, but didn't want to put the work in to be that. I've long said there's a reason why Penny/Kobe/Wade/Amare/Nash, are all no longer on speaking terms with Shaq for the most part. Kobe was part of the problem as well, but so was Shaq.

:facepalm What the hell? He's saying that if Dwight wants to be a Great center he needs to average 28 points and 15 rebounds. How in the holy hell are you going to average those type of numbers if you're not given the ball everytime down the court? :facepalm :facepalm
