That "Jozef" guy was sure one bad mofo, haha..
But on a serious note, I doubt the creator of that pic would have gotten all the numbers right when he/she even couldn't get Stalin's name right.

Holy cow at Mao Zedong. He killed all those people and it didn't make a dent in the chinese population.

Mao is debatable.

Many of those deaths were caused by famine, which one could argue was caused by Mao's policies, but I dunno.

Not really fair, Stalin and Mao had the most time to rack up kills! Mao had 43 years, four times the time Hitler got.

If Hitler was on an even playing field, he'd have 68 million, and be almost on par there with the Maoster. Weak era for mass murder.

China is a big country no famine in the 20th century could have caused 80million people to die. People don't realize this but china is actually great for agriculture and historically has always been so. It's why China has even in ancient times had a huge population, the land there is very fertile. In fact this is probably the least amount of Chinese people on earth in thousands of years from a proportion of total population perspective, largely due to the communists restricting families to one child each. The number 1 determinant of population growth is agricultural efficiency.

There is no way 80 million people dying in a place with such established agricultural practices was from natural causes. Mao wanted to institute his great leap forward which caused it

Mao is the KAJ of dicators, he amassed his records over time, Hitler is the larry bird of dicators, he got it all done in a short time frame, and his career was cut short.

That's just a statement to Stalin and Mao's GOAT longevity. Hitler had what was probably the GOAT peak, but it was short lived.

Are we all going to act like Hitler didnt have a HOF team? Joesph Goebbels was evil enough to be the main man in any dicatorship. Heinrich Himmler and Hermann Goring were bad men. Who did the real GOAT Stalin have?

Mao is not debatable. Stalin also killed millions via famine. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor)

Also given that Pol Pot might have killed 1 in 3 Cambodians, his efficiency is off the charts [/I'mgoingtohell]

Stalin was selfish and turned his back on his teammates. That just elevates him on my list though. Dude was cold blooded

Stalin vs Hitler in the Battle of Stalingrad was the GOAT rivalry. It was the Bird vs Magic of dictators.

Where does George Bush rank?

Genghis Khan takes the cake in this category. His numbers might be up near Stalin even though he lived in a world with a tiny percentage of the population of Stalin's, less efficient weapons, and it wasn't as easy to cause giant famines with more self-sufficient towns

Also, Tojo doesn't really count he's just one of many Japanese responsible. If anyone should be up there it should be their emperor who was the top authority and got off scot-free. It's was retroactively considered a constitutional monarchy to save face so that Japan would surrender. Some of the emperor's own family was in charge of Nanjing during the massacre

I did not know Khan's numbers were that high. How was that even possible, and how did they calculate it? Not calling you out, just genuinely curious...

Genghis Khan was a badass, his Y chromosome is found in 16 million men today. Assuming a 50% of his decendants were male that means he is responsible for about 32 million people. If evolutionary success is measured by how often you have passed on your genes, Genghis Khan is the most successful human being that ever existed.
