Besides ugly as sin. I've only seen him play one quarter
No Evans!

I went to the Hornets/Hawks game on Thursday. He looked very good. He knocked down a couple of jumpers, had a slam, and played some good D. He was the best player on the floor for most of the night.

Pretty good. A bit raw offensively if he's not having lobs thrown all game at him, but you can see the defensive impact he makes.
I can see him leading the league in fg% one day.
Speaking of fg%... Rivers on the other hand... I think he's averaging like 2 assists a game and maybe 20% shooting. I'll check...
9 ppg, 1.6 apg, 3.8 rpg, 1.0 tpg.
14 of 48 (29.1%) from the field, 2 of 14 (14.2%) from 3, 15 of 20 (75%) from the FT line.

Austin Rivers won't be that good.
Sure lets determine how good a 20 year old will be who is by a handful of preseason and Summer-league games. Dude is playing the 2 half the time and learning to running the point. Plus Eric Gordon has been out (insert joke here) to take the pressure off.
As for Anthony Davis, the league needs to prepare their anus.

You can't have it both ways.

The fact that he wasn't that good at the college level and doesn't have a lot of redeeming value?

Dominated HS was the best in the country going into the McDonalds game. I don't really understand the not good at the college level point. He kept his team alive all the time with his clutch antics in a sport where getting wins is the only thing that matters.

The top 20 at the very least is GREAT. You seem like the casual fan who thinks Kobe, Lebron & Durant = NBA :facepalm
Definitely looked solid defensively. A bit raw at the offensive end, which is not at all uncommon for players just entering the league. He'll definitely improve and it'll be noticable within a short period of time.

They just need a scorer to pair with him and allow Davis to play weak side
Amare for Ryan Anderson and Jason smith- helps both teams, and amare comes off the books before they have to extend davis

why do you care how another man looks? This thread SCREAMS closet homosexual. I think its best if you just come out and be proud to be gay. There is nothing wrong with it ya know? Nowadays your kind are allowed to adopt/marry and everything else. You should be happy that you figured out who you are, most people take their whole lives to figure it out. Instead at such an early age, you've discovered that you're a fan of *****. GOOD FOR YOU!

great defensively. i've talked about how he doesn't have a really serviceable post game thus far so don't expect him coming out of the gates scoring in multiple ways. i think he's going to end up taking many jumpers. i expect the dude to have a couple 5 block and 15 rebound games during his rookie campaign. basically like a young camby with better defensive awareness/help D i guess...
the guy looks legit and every bit worthy of the #1 pick...even if drummond somehow becomes a force down the line, no one can it wasn't the right choice at the time.
if he stays on track and his post game develops like it should in the next 2-3 years, the league is going to need to pepper its angus. we're talking about a guy that will likely be in the DPOY discussion level early on and if he reaches his potential, getting MVP discussion.

15ppg- 10 rpg 3 assists 2 blocks 1.5 steals 48% FG
Hes going to get 8 points a game off hustle plays and easy lobs, expect him to take 6-8 jump shots and make about 2-3 of em.
I am more interested in seeing Davis in 2014, I expect him to fill out, and be a 21 12 3 assists 2.5 blocks 1.5 steals type player. He's very KG-ish minus the passing and post offense yet.

He may not have much of a post game yet, but he should be good for 8-12ppg just off put backs and alley oops, and another 4-6ppg off that nice mid range jumper he has.
I expect something like 15/11/3 as a rookie, which would be really impressive from such a young player. He has broad shoulders too, should put on a good deal of muscle and develop a post game in the next few years.
