I was glad to see this thread started. I've been thinking the same thing since Shaq first started with Inside The NBA. He just doesn't fit in. His feelings seem to get hurt with some of the kidding around. You can tell, he's just so big he's not used to people poking fun at him. He doesn't bring good insight to the games either. I really liked C Webb on the show. He seemed to fit right in with the guys. Maybe there's something else they can use Shaq for. I'm not sure. Shaq seems like he fits in with the ESPN televised games (which are more boring). I actually like Shaq, he just doesn't fit in where he's at whatsoever.

If they had a 4th... I liked it with Cwebb. He had some decent analysis, didn't talk too much and could still joke around a bit. I think as the season goes on it will get better in terms of overall chemistry, probably a good amount of pressure to "be funny" in the first episode of the season. Some of the criticism is valid, but I think some of you guys are really overreacting. He's definitely more sensitive then Chuck and Kenny but I haven't gotten the impression that he can't take a joke at all. His jokes on Jason Whitlock last night were pretty funny, the bits with Ernie last year were funny, and Shaqtin a Fool is great. I definitely think it was better before and overall he does bring the show down, but its still a great show and not even close to unbearable IMO like people seem to think. I think Webber or Reggie on the show would make it much better.
