I would also go out on a limb and assume he already knew that but whatever.
Lebron was youngest and did it in 368 games
KD second youngest and did it in 381 games
Still a wonderful achievement for a young player

Top 4 youngest I think.
LeBron
Durant
Kobe
McGrady
I remember about a decade ago, Kobe was always the youngest with McGrady right behind him.

Due to having a lockout last season would that be the reason why he second to lebron? Or breaking any "youngest records" in the future due to that reason?

Dwight Howard pulled off a top six while averaging only 17ppg. Pretty impressive. In about the same period of time Wilt was averaging 42ppg.

its not really that impressive. hes only on there because he came straight out of high school and had plenty of games to get 10k points.

Great job Mr. Durant. You may not be at the peak of physical perfection like LeBron, but you will always be a better scorer and a better human being than him :applause: :applause:

I'm sure he played the most games and that was the only way he could accomplish the feat. There are probably 40 -50 players that averaged more than 17ppg before their 485 game like Dwight did. Obviously only three of them started before they were 19

LeBron was drafted by the worst team at age 18.. He take advantage of his situation to statpad.. So being the youngest to achieve 10,000 pts is not really impressive at all becos of his situation that gave him all the opportunity to statpad.. Any superstars with the same circumstances that he had will also achieve the same feat.. LeBron was just lucky.. Im more impressive at Kobe being 3rd while wasting his 2 years at the bench coz of their stupid coach not realizing the goat talent.. If Kobe has the same situation as LeBron, I guarantee you, he would scored 15,000 pts easily at age 23..

Just curious, Lebron had the opportunity to make it to the finals without another very good player on the team with Mike Brown as the coach at age 22. Nobody was saying fire Coach Brown. Lebron was busy stat padding with a new coach but could make it to the finals? Now Mike Brown has the best starting five in the league and people want to fire him. You can't have it both ways.
Lebron came into the league as a dominant teenager, which the league has never seen. If he wasn't playing the point effectively he would have averaged 25ppg in his rookie year easily. Lebron was a the best passing 30ppg scorer probably in league history. His passing was in a different league to anybody on that list in his first year.

No disrespect to Durant but the real list is the amount of games needed to reach 10,000 points. Or "Fastest". I'm sure he would do well on that list too but I think it would paint a clearer picture on who came out of the gates the fastest. If someone has that list somewhere I would love to see it. I suspect it goes something like 1.Chaimberlain 2.Jordan 3. Robertson. 4. Jabbar. 5. Karl Malone/Lebron James....
Seriously someone find this list cause now Im dying to know.

Wilt Chamberlain in 236 games. Not sure about the full list. I think Lebron is ninth from what I could find.

Wilt is at 230ish and just destroys everyone really.
But hitting 10k points at his age is still a good achievement.

Look at the OP, the posts only talks about 10,000 points, and the age. The amount of game is important, but in this "stat" we are simply looking at age. Amount of games is a separate issue, can we can talk about that if it was raised but not here.
Durant would have gotten it last season (16 games x 30 points = 480) if it wasn't for the lockout. Lebron benefited AGAIN from this lockout and won.
ALL facts, no opinions. All facts all day long, baby.

That's right. His first time performance in the finals at age 24 was MUCH better than Lebron's 1st two. He's definitely no lebron in that aspect.

Wow are you this stupid i know you are a troll.
What he said was even if you look at games or age or time to reach there, lebron has the advantage.
Assume no lockout again lebron would be ahead by at least half a year
Imagine Kobe a starter from day 1!
Problem with that theory is that kobe didnt have the body to go along with his skills. This is why he was drafted so low.Lebron had the body to play in NBA from day 1

Right, but this technically happened in what would've been game 67 in a regular 82 game season last year. That game would've taken place back in March when Durant was still 23. LeBron would still have him beat, but it'd be a little closer if it weren't for the lockout.
