We didn't even need one. It was a terrible introduction all around; speakers were blown out, lame announcer, gay ass mascot..it really was embarrassing.

Haha, I don't get him having a sheild as most mascots are fluffy and harmless - most importantly ready to be happy. But Brooklyn is tough and I guess most people identify with a superhero to defend them from a beat down, rather than the tradtional happy stuff guy.

Jay Z at the Mascot meeting:
"Brooklyn ites would rather fight than go into flight, and that's why we want a Brooklyn Knight."

Me: "I don't find that funny. I'd rather see a fine honey and we can call her the Brooklyn Bunny."
