The only reason he's in the rotation is because Iman Shumpert is injured. Once Shumpert comes back, Prigioni won't get any minutes. It's not like he's doing anything anyway. He has 13 points in 3 game.

While Euroleague is an idiot, this is false. Prigioni has been playing very well. Aside from a few really bad passes, he's been playing solid offensively and very good defensively.

The point still stands. When Shumpert comes back, he'll likely take most of his minutes away.

"Washed up" is a great term to describe a player that just averaged career highs in MPG, PPG and RPG. His team didn't make it out of the group fase in Euroleague, but he was solid for one of the better teams in Spain. Trolling at its finest.

Prime 24 Year old Euroleague Legend Vassilis Spanoulis can't get minutes over Rafer Alston and Luther Head

So easy.

Besides, Prigioni is probably the first example ever of a point guard with terrific basketball IQ and fundamental play still playing pretty well at 35. Clearly an anomaly there.

Also, let me point out here: Shumpert taking most of Prigioni's minutes could happen, but that doesn't mean that would be in the Knicks best interests.

No, he'll take a lot of Kidd's minutes and Brewers too. Prigoni will still get minutes. It's important to rotate our guards to keep them fresh.

Pablo Prigioni at the age of 35:
4.3 points , 0.7 rebounds , 4.3 assists , 1.3 steals on 44% shooting (25% for three)

Vassilis Spanoulis at the age of 24:
2.7 points , 0.7 rebounds , 0.9 assists , 0.2 steals on 32% shooting (17% for three)

CONCLUSION: 35 year old Prigioni >>>> 24 year old Spanoulis
