Fvck that traitor. He's a fat ass RINO.
Why? Because he put aside the stupid party differences to work with the president to help New Jersey? Maybe to you and most of the stupid GOP supporters think that way, but the rest of the people gave him huge props for doing that and will remember that if he ever runs for president.
And anyways, if you actually looked at the polls, Romney was losing even before Sandy so he didn't really affect the outcome.

I love how the Republican party allows themselves to remove the sane candidates that Democrats might actually vote for (Huntsman, Christie) and instead put forward the likes of Rubio, Santorum, Bachman, Perry, Ryan, et al.
This is why your party is losing relevance.

I'm actually pissed at this fat ass turncoat. He could have thanked Obama, that was fine. He didn't just thank him though. He slobbered all over him like he was a juicy steak. There was something behind it, I do believe the leaked story that he was pissed because he was dragged along thinking he was going to be the VP pick.

Sure I'll play along.
Obviously for Dems it will be either Hillary or Biden if they want it. For VP they should go with a red state Governor (Bev Purdue or Brian Schweitzer stand out) or somebody from the progressive movement. Perhaps steal Jill Stein away from the Greens. Of course I could also see Pelosi or Granholm getting the nod.
I'm not sure who the GOP should run, it needs to be somebody new for them. It can't be any of the losers they trotted out this year. IMO they need to go libertarian and stop pandering to religious fundamentalism. They should be the party of personal freedom. Not just economic freedom. Come out strong against the Patriot Act and the DEA and they will pull some people to their side.

You know what's fvcking sad? Christie put politics aside to work with Obama to help his state the best he could, and he gave Obama credit for being extremely helpful, and the Republicans shit on him and blame him for the election loss because he worked with Obama and gave him credit.
So sad and the number one reason our Government will remain dysfunctional and broken. Left-Right pissing match.

Well, I hate to be unfair to Christie, but between hugging/praising Obama, his speech at the convention where he barely mentioned Romney, promoted himself non-stop and indicated we needed to cut entitlements and his refusal to appear with Romney on election day, I wonder about Christie's intentions.
I'll put it this way, If Romney won, 2016 is an impossibility for Christie. I dont think Christie would have worked with Obama if he was put on the ticket.
EDIT: I mean come on watch the speech

Not necessarily. Jeb was one of the most beloved Florida governors and is a champion in the Spanish community. It all depends on how Obama leaves office. If it's 4 more years of the same mediocrity, it doesn't matter who the GOP puts out there, they have the advantage.

If the economy improves like most economists believe (12.5 million more jobs is the projected number for the next 4 years, that's why Romney kept saying that, he didn't pull that number out of his ass), it won't matter who the GOP put up, Hillary will crush them.
The narrative will be that the Dems got us out of the big mess the GOP left.

Why should Christie be wasting his time chatting with some loser when he's got a storm-ravaged state to run? Out of respect for wasting half a billion dollars of other people's money running for President? What's he going to talk to him about anyway? At least Obama can tell him how to win.

I'd really be surprised after this election if the republicans don't move to the middle. Which means that I really don't see them running Paul Ryan. I think if this election said anything it's that the U.S. is definitely becoming socially liberal.

I do think Jeb would be a decent candidate, if he can get out of the shadow of his family, which I really think he has the ability to do. That said the Bush name, even though he'll need to distance himself a bit from it, would actually be a plus.
Everyone assumes it's going to be Hilary. In 2016? Idk about that... I don't. I would love to see Biden take a run just because that dude as the head of a campaign, would just be hilarious.

First, I think this country is done with anyone with the last name Bush.
Second, why couldn't Hillary run in 2016? Her age? She's younger than Joe Biden. Biden is 69 and would be 73 in 2016. Hillary is 65 and would be 69 in 2016.
