I don't even like the fvcking Knicks, and I can see that they're back.

Knicks should certainly be #1 in all NBA power rankings right now.

Melo can only lead an NBA team so far. At it ends at the 1st round of the playoffs.

More importantly, 3 home wins and 1 road win(in Philly, who don't Bynum yet).

Just for the record the Knicks have played against Heat,Mavs and twice against the Sixers. They're 4-0. And that's a tough schedule.
If they stay focused against non-playoff teams they should have a really good record.

True. My point is, like when the Heat are good, I stay humble. These kind of threads always get people going.

Do you not see the part where it says "Right now..."?

There are no predictions being made.

Bumping it in a few weeks would serve no purpose.

Glad they are doing well. Sick of people finding every excuse to shit on them. They have top 5 talent roster wise so why are people shocked? For them it's a matter of everybody knowing their roles.

They are finally playing defense. Shots don't always go in, but defense always keeps you in games.

Well to argue the post, I don't think they are the best team in the NBA just because they started off hot. However, they are definitely a good team that should get past the first round unless they run into the Heat or someone tough.

Nobody knows who the best team is. But the Knicks have thrown their name in. the hat.

I've said it all this off season they are the most dynamic roster in the league. They can matchup with any team and play any style offensively. Fast or slow, inside and out. And the roster could be built to enhance both Amare and Melo together or even apart.

Amare will be a great efficient scorer just added to the mix.

So the Knicks have beat the...Heat who didn't even want that game to be played, 76ers 2 times with no Bynum and Mavs with Dirk and Marion out.

Congrats Knicks fans....:applause:

That depends on how long a person has been a Knicks fan. I go all the way back to the Bernard King days, when he was contending for MVP with Bird and taking the Celtics to Game 7 in the ECF almost by himself.

Then there were the Ewing years, filled with tough gritty defense and grind-it-out offense. Loved X-Man, Oakley, Mason, Starks, et al. Those teams had crazy heart and guts, but were just unlucky to peak during the Jordan era.

i wonder if amare will f up the chemistry

I'm sick of the "trade Amar'e for a bag of potato chips" rhetoric that is spewed all over the Internet. People were ready to write off Carmelo last year during Linsanity because he was going to "mess up the chemistry"

Amar'e is still a capable player. I fail to see how his defense isn't going to improve when he joins this team. His matador D is not going to fly with Woodson, or Sheed, or Tyson, or Kidd, or anyone for that matter. It's clear the mindset this team has in regards to defense. Lax play is not going to fly.

I have confidence that Woody will make the necessary adjustments to find a role for him, and his defense is going to improve tenfold playing on this team under Woodson. Let the team dynamic work magic on him, and he will be a valuable asset in time.
