Trade Nash for Curry...best for both teams.

PJax is going to string them along for his own amusement, then turn them down -- forcing a Mike D'Antoni hire.

Trade one of the greatest assist/court-vision players of all time for a scoring PG on a team already loaded with scorers?

2nd round sweep incoming. :lol

Kobe 2 years older.
Pau 2 years older.
old man Nash who won't fit the system and is a worse defender than Fisher.
No Odom.

Not even the Bynum for Howard swap will make up for that.

It's good for the NBA if Phil comes back to coach the Lakers. It's going to be that much better when LeBron and company take them down in the Finals.....That's if the Lakers make it there

In the triangle, Nash is wasted...great shooter, but he doesn't have freedom.

Curry is also an elite shooter, better off the ball shooter. He also isn't as dribble-happy as Nash. He makes a lot more sense. Then, of course, the Lakers also get younger.

For the Warriors they simply get a better player, who's a genuine PG, and that team is absolutely in the playoffs with Nash. His contract is even better, as Curry's $44Million will be on the books next year. Curry isn't a true PG anyway, and playing alongside Thompson and now Barnes, it becomes more obvious.

All over for the league as the Lakers are Finals-bound yet again. Junk like the Clippers will find themselves 10 games out of first in the Pacific in no time, and teams like the Spurs and Thunder will realize they are second tier.

Worst case scenario he's Fisher on steroids :oldlol: but I'm confident Phil won't peg him into a spot up shooting role. He'll tinker the offense to cater towards a ball handling PG for once.
