View Full Version : GT: Bobcats vs Mavericks

rodman91

I haven't seen any thread about it.Even though they lost games, they have given good games so far in this season. It seems like this game no exception.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist playing good so far. 13 points in 15 minutes. 5/7 shooting.

MKG has some fancy reversal layups.

rodman91
11-10-2012, 09:44 PM
Nobody except Walker has an assist on Bobcats.Only 6 assist in one half..all from Kemba.:lol

R.I.P.
11-10-2012, 09:53 PM
I think the Mavs are the only team the Bobcats have never beaten in their franchise history.

rodman91
11-10-2012, 09:58 PM
MKG has most mature game on Bobcats.. it says a lot.

rodman91
11-10-2012, 10:24 PM
73-68.. They could take lead if Ben Gordon didn't miss lay ups and Carter wouldn't play like in prime at the end of 3rd quarter.

Props to Bobcats coach.:applause: His team doesn't give up.

I love Kemba Walker...and I apologize to him for being stupid enough to say he's an undersized combo 2guard...I am stupid.

But he is great and he will be a top 10 PG.

Kiddlovesnets
11-10-2012, 10:28 PM
MKG has been playing pretty well since that 1-7 shooting performance in his debut. His FG% is back to 41%, and after this game it may as well be above 45%. Hes also averaging 2.3 bpg, 1.8spg and 100% from the 3pt line. For a small foward, 9 blocks in 4 games is impressive.

ripthekik
11-10-2012, 10:33 PM
Not to mention 6 steals tonight.

IGotACoolStory
11-10-2012, 11:32 PM
Well North Carolina is a great basketball state and the Hornets had a huge fan base back in the day. That place is just waiting for anything to cheer about.

I do like some of their young pieces. I think he's a little bit overrated, but someone like Cody Z would be great for this franchise. I think he drops to around 5-ish so maybe the Bobcats have a chance to draft him. Give them a legit offensive player in the post to go with their future wing and PG.

Truth right here. I think Kemba' NRG is just what char needs right now though, he needs to share the ball more in clutch moments, although if he hits every shot hard to argue with that.

Anyway, he's been called "Prince of Zamunda" since his UConn days. It's a cool nickname, just not something I would ever call him.

A name change should be the #1 priority for this team, now that there are actually some decent young players and a bright future.

Anything associated with Robert Johnson turns to sh!t. If its possible to be a multi-millionaire and still be a loser, he accomplished it.

As far as the fan atmosphere at the game, that's not the least bit surprising. I don't think there's a more knowledgable fanbase for all levels of basketball than in North Carolina.

I missed the OT, but actually watched this game. I love Kemba Walker. He's like the Bronx's answer to Isiah Thomas.

This team will be good eventually...the coach (don't know his name) seems to be doing a great job with the team...and MKG was very impressive. Considering the type of player and piece he is, I have to admit that I can't argue too much with him being drafted #2. Barnes might end up the better player, but this guy looks to be great and just the right piece...I have no idea where these Gerald Wallace comparisons come from tho.

BTW, Ramon Sessions...last year, this guy was the starting PG for the Lakers. This year, he's the backup on the Bobcats...that's rough. I was watching him in the 4th and thought he's too good to be in this position. And I'm right, as he went out of his way in the 4th to try and win the game all by himself. He needs to be a piece on a good team. A good pickup for Charlotte, as he'll be tradeable and they should be able to get something for him.
