Hiring this clown is almost as worst as hiring Mike Brown. Mike D'Antoni couldn't even handle Melo's ego and Melo basically forced him out. Now, he is facing Kobe's super ego, the twilight zone which is Ron Artest, the biggest goof ball crybaby self proclaimed super man Dwight Howard, soft and fragile minded Pau Gasol, and his very own Steve Nash which he has a man crush for.

This is going to go very bad, very quickly. No way in hell this is a good hire. When every smart person is scratching their head and asking, "Why the hell did you hire this guy?" that usually isn't a good thing.

Everyone knows Mike D'Antoni's system. He runs a faced paced offense, centering around a point guard. Kobe is going to go nuts. Kobe wants things done Kobe's way. Dwight Howard is known to have locker room issues when trouble starts brewing. Artest is going to go insane. Pau Gasol will go mental and need a tampon. L.A. will become a nightmare for Nash...

This is going to end bad... WHAT WERE THESE CLOWNS THINKING HIRING THIS FOOL?

Remind me how many championships Nash has won with Mike D'Antoni. Oh that's right... zero.

Kobe... Lol... This guy just said he supported Mike Brown. Soon as Mike Brown was fired he said he only wanted Phil Jackson. So.. yeah.. believe what you want.

Kobe is going to go off of this fool. This is one of the worst decisions they could of done. Might was well kept Mike Brown.

You thought the death stare was something.. haven't seen anything yet. :oldlol:

Who knows if Pau will be around by the end of this season. Sad fact is this hire puts his job in jeapordy. Hopefully Nash can do a good enough job to keep him around without having to go insane and risk another injury. 5 years ago I would say this was an interesting move. With the current age of everyone and what D'Antonis system requires from its players, I fear injury will be the downfall. If we can all see this im sure the FO can, which means someone has to be moved for youth. Pau is the odd man out.

Same coach that had Melo, Amare, Lin, Chandler, Novak, etc and still got swept in first round. Still had major locker room problems. Still was given zero respect. Still had no defense. Chandler even joked he was the only guy on the team playing D. Face it... terrible hire and will end very bad.

Doesn't matter if he had the players. The players don't respect this guy and never will. Melo showed this guy the door once he started trying to "coach".

Kobe is going to eat this guy for lunch.

Lol...

Dude. What's the common denominator? Mike D'Antoni. Guy never won a championship. His teams never played D. He's teams always choked. His system doesn't work with star players. Look what happened when he tried to "coach" Melo. Lol.. Melo said, "Okay, the exit is to the left."

You act like Melo and Kobe are the same player. Both superstars, both big egos, the difference is one of the two care about winning. And has won. A LOT.

I think injuries really screwed him up after that.

I hate this myth so much. I'm not even going to go into why this is bullshit, because it should be obvious that Steve Nash didn't make shit by anyone who pays close attention to Stoudemire's career.

This. Kobe is a winner, Melo is a stat-padding perpetual drama-queen who hasn't won shit in his career.

Future Neg for having the nerve to call any teams players scrubs when your favorite team is the Bobcats...

Than again...I guess you would know what a scrub would look like. Guess I wont neg you because I feel bad for you.

Melo's got a huge ego tho, maybe as big as kobe's. you could tell Melo had little respect for Lin even tho he acted all buddy buddy with him, its like he was waiting for Lin to disappear into obscurity so he could get the spotlight and emphasis back.

Kobe Bryant is a 5-time NBA Champion, 2x Finals MVP and league MVP. He knows what it takes to win and wants to win more than anything.

Carmelo Anthony is a ball-hogging, brick-chucking, no-defense malcontent who forced his way out of one city with a darn fine coach and got another coach fired because Melo quit trying.

Comparing Kobe to Melo is ridiculous on all levels. Troll better next time.

Melo and Kobe are different I think. Kobe probably didn't like what Brown was doing, but you can't say he really quit on him. I think he tried his best to make it work with Brown. Can't really say the same for Melo and D'Antoni.

And didn't Melo clash with George Carl in Denver? Melo is just another selfish superstar. Obviously a great player, but he'll never even come remotely close to what Kobe has done.
