Big ups for UD on an achievment that his loyalty has earned
I'm sure Miami fans have to love this guy. He's been there since the beginning, is from Florida, and has been a model of a consistent role player his entire career. He's probably one of the better and more consistent role player PFs in the league, and could definitly be a starter on a few teams. It'll be good to have his name in the books just because he's been a part of championship runs his whole career. I just gota give it up to him for his consistency and loyalty to winning in Miami. The guy clearly wants to spend his career being part of a winning franchise in Miami which should always be appreciated

Heat were complete shit before Zo and Hardaway...and they still were eliminated by the Knicks EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
Knicks 1987-2001 = 14 CONSECUTIVE PLAYOFF APPEARANCES. ONE OF THE BEST FEATS IN NBA HISTORY.

Suspensions... doesnt count. Players were suspended that werent even involved just because they stood up off the bench. Knicks werent at full strength. Not an accomplishment.
Stern imposed his basketball reasons there.
It's like winning an olympic medal because the other competitors didnt show up. Means nothing. Value eliminated. Nothing accomplished

Heat have been to playoffs 16/25 seasons, and werent eliminated by knicks every season at all. Also 2 playoff appearances before Zo/Timmy came. Your facts are whack. Why are you in a UD thread with your knickers in a knot?

From 1997-2000, Heat and Knicks faced each other 3 times and they were truly fierce battles.
Heat beat the Knicks the first time around, but the Knicks eventually won the war overall in that 3 year span, 2-1, which included Allan Houston's amazing Game Winner in Game 5, 1999 First Round.
I'm glad that this is a rivalry again, but it's not as intense as the late 90s-early 00's Knicks vs Heat. And until the current Knicks can beat the current Heat in a playoff series, it can't matchup to what the old school battles were like.

Facts are from my memory... Remembering 20 years back you're not going to get things 100%.
Fact is, Pat Riley conspired and tampered with LeBron, and you lucked into him.
Mickey Arison recently admitted he tampered to get Pat Riley while he was still under contract with the Knicks and to quote that fat piece of shit he said "it was worth it".
Miami CHeat forever
Had to have half the knicks team suspended in 97 to win game 7. Weak...

what is it with you knicks fans? jealous much?
You have to excuse Knicks fans. They are still a wee bit sensitive to the fact that the Heat have raised two championship banners, in the same
time span that they have won 1 playoff game. :oldlol:

Absolutely hilarious seeing Knicks fans take shots at the Heat franchise. A franchise that has more titles in 10 years than the Knicks have playoff wins.
