D'Antoni was a terrible hire. The guy is incompetent. I used to defend D'Antoni in his early years with Knicks, saying his system can work....and I still believe it can. The problem is, even though D'Antoni's SYSTEM can work....he's just a bad coach. He can't adjust to the players he has, he has no defensive philosophy at all (Why? Why can't you run and gun and still play defense? I don't get it), and he's.....well.....he's just not that smart a person. Listen to his press conference. Does he sound intelligent?

Foolish not to give reigns to Phil Jackson. Not saying Phil would make Lakers a championship team, but I would trust him more to figure out how to get most of these guys.

First the OP isn't a Laker fan he's an idiot Lebron dickrider pretending to be a Wolves fan. And the Lakers aren't going to fire D'antoni after just letting Mike Brown go. The Lakers weren't going to win a championship this year with or without Phil. This season is all about building chemistry and learning the system. The team needs to get Nash and Blake back for a good stretch of games before coming to a conclusion. D'antoni's only had 10 games to coach and the team is still learning.
