Yes, the one in the video is a funk singer, her nickname can be translated as Watermelon Woman (because of her breasts). Funk music is pretty big in Rio de Janeiro, specially in the "favelas" or shanty towns, the parties are huge and in them there are a lot of woman that dance in a let's say sexy manner with little clothes on. They are normally hot as hell;

Never, its the best country in the world if you have the money to live nicely. Perfect weather, hot girls everywhere, nice and gentle people. I pretend to get an MBA in the US in 3-4 years, but then i will come back.

I have read articles showing how Bolivians and other Southern Americans are immigrating to Brazil and working for below minimum wages. More qualified immigrants (those with a degree on something) are finding good jobs but those that come to do grunt labor only earn the minimum wage which is pretty low (around 300 dollars per month).

Infrastructure isn't the best, but i dont think we will be worse than South Africa. If you are coming be prepared to find huge traffic jams and delayed flights. But parties in Brazil aren't like the parties anywhere else in the world. If there is one thing Brazilians know to do, its to party and have fun.

I would suggest coming for the World Cup since then you get to know the whole country or at least the biggest cities. The Olympics will happen only in Rio de Janeiro, and while its the most famous, in my opinion its overrated.

How hard is it for foreigners ie Australians to get a visa to live there for the short or long term.

I dont really know about the visa but i know a lot of foreigners and they don't seem to have any problem getting their visas.

Copacabana you can find flats and lofts for around 1.500-3.000 bucks per month. The closer to the beach the more expensive it gets. Also some of the renters will make you leave during New Year's Eve and Carnival where they can get like 1.000 bucks a day.

I've been around a fair bit, Europe (London, France, Rome, Florence, Nice, Athens, Dublin a fair few more) Asia (Singapore, KL, Bangkok + more) Cairo, Dubai, Buenos Aires, NYC, Miami. Fair few more I can't remember off the top of my head. I just loved the vibe, the energy and geographically it's the most beautiful city I've seen.

That's reasonably expensive I spose, but the rest of the cost of living was cheap from memory. I'd love to live over there, even if it's just for a year.

Are the wages decent if you're working in a recognized industry? Design for example.

Lucas and Oscar play different postions. Lucas is more of a right winger (or AMR). Oscar is a pure AM. They can both play together.

Vagner Love and Fabiano are both average players. But Luis Fabiano is better. Both are shite compared to past great brazilian CF like Romario and ROnaldo.

Dida was better for me. I've always found Ceni overrated. People get to high on him because of his deadly FK'S.

Basketball was very popular untill the 80's (second colective sport behind football) when it got surpassed by volleyball (much more popular than basketball now). It's still popular, but not by the average brazilian. But the Brazilian Basketball league has a lot of fans specially in the Southeast of Brazil (S

How bad is the AIDS epidemic within the prostitution community in your country?

http://articles.cnn.com/2011-06-04/opinion/gomez.brazil.aids_1_aids-medication-aids-cases-aids-epidemic?_s=PM:OPINION

Anderson Silva or Gracie?

Also, why is soccer so overrated in Brazil and why is Basketball so underrated?

Unfair comparison. It's like comparing a 1970 to a 2012 Ferrari. When Royce Graice fought, no one knew BJJ (we call it JJ - jiu jitsu), so he had a terrible standup game, because he did not need to. Anderson is a complete fighter. But he only knows BJJ because of the Gracies.

IF I would make a rank. In terms of MMA all time rankings, Anderson would be ahead of Royce (who was not even the best Gracie, Rickson was).

And soccer is not overrated. That does not exist. It's just part of our culture. That's like asking why baseball and american football are overrated in the U.S and football/soccer underrated. We think football is a great sport because we grow up playing and watching it. I'm sure I'd be a baseball/ american football fan if I was american.

English is not widely spoken, but many people know the basics. People here are so receptive that you will have no problem getting around without knowing an inkling of Portuguese, just use signs and you will be ok.

Tocantins is the second poorest state in the country, and pretty close to the Amazon forest, so it is hot as hell. I've never been there though, so i can't tell much more than that.

White americans are normally blonde, white as hell (when compared to a white brazilian since we stay in the sun a lot more), and have light-colored eyes. So they stand out more and become exotic.

Yeah...I had a club soccer team where my coach (probably illegally) brought over a couple brazilians over to play on our team. Pretty damn good and didn't belong on our team at all.

Anyways, our coach got kicked out and he was the only one who could speak portuguese. My dad is fluent in spanish and came over and spoke spanish very slowly to them. They understood well enough to get by.

Ok, if you are looking for beaches and bitches go to these places:

(City, State)

Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro <--- Its a must visit, big city so you have lots of options, stay in Copacabana, not very expensive and close to the bars.

Porto Seguro, Bahia <---- Parties and bitches from all over the world all year long though specially in the summer. Fat Boy Slim will play there this New Year's Eve. It also was the first place in Brazil where the portuguese landed. Also has a wide range of activities (whale watching, Kite surfing, fishing..)

Fernando de Noronha, Rio Grande do Norte <----- its an island that's also a natural reserve, one of the prettiest places in Brazil.

Morro de S
