One of the greatest names in NBA basketball really needed to match it with one of the greatest games. In high school he received high praise and many thought he was going to be a great NBA player.
Last season, his freshman year at Oklahoma State, many saw an overrated and inconsistent athlete who had a long way to go before the NBA was a possibility.

Well... he's off to a hot start. He's averaging nearly 20 points and six boards on the Cowboys this season. His rise will only continue on his way to being a top 10 pick in the NBA.

What kind of name is "LeBryan"? Forget about the fact that it sounds like LeBron and Kobe Bryant mixed together with a hint of Steve Nash and just say the name out loud to yourself. "LeBryan". Sounds stupid. Is this going to be the new fad for black chicks naming their kids? Taking a popular name and adding "Le" in front of it? lol..

They forgot the T.

But he is nowhere near as good as LeJordan Kobe.

In unrelated new I saw a car yesterday with a personalized license plate that said "D Wade", better have actually been the man himself tooling around the suburbs of Detroit or it is officially the gayest thing I've seen.

What if his name is David Wade?

He has every right to have that license plate to play around with the nickname just like my homie Thomas McClaren goes by "T-Mac".

If I'm looking for NBA comparisons of this guy, I look to someone like Danny Granger or maybe even Rudy Gay. Maybe OJ Mayo.

I like him a lot but he's not even the best prospect on his own team.

This guy has really impressed me this season:

He plays nothing like those guys bro. All those guys you mentioned are very good outside shooters on the leaner side. Nash shot under 25% from 3 last year. He's more of a MWP or Anthony Mason type of player - strong wing that can bang and do a little bit of everything with a streaky jumper.

I'm talking more on their level as opposed to their style. I think he can be on someone like Granger or this season's Mayo's level. I would say that I think he plays like a Granger without as good of a jumpshot, though.

I saw some good flashes in that highlight, at times he makes it look really easy. At the same time, there wasn't anything that made me go, "Oh man!!! THIS guy!!!!"
