Jazz were up double digits a lot of the game including 14 in the third quarter. Not sure two made free throws were the game changer. Clippers had 5 point lead with 15 seconds left before almost blowing it.

this is the problem with their rule. chauncey or anyone are still gonna flop no matter how big the fine or suspension in that situation to help win a game. officials need to be able to take calls back.

I've been thinking for awhile that an obvious flop should be called a technical foul, so that the call could actually influence the game, making players less likely to attempt it, but that could end up being a mess as well. Although, the officials do call diving in hockey, which seems to be a tougher call to make than some of these NBA flops.

Lol at you saying this about your own team after calling my loyalty into question. Jazz got about 6 free throws off flops tonight so this is a non issue. If you're up 14 late in the game and lose you have nobody to blame but yourself.

Do you remember when KD would always do his rip move from 2008-2011? Thats how he won his scoring title in 2010 & 2011.

That's a Flop too. Just like Reggie Miller/billups kick move.

I agree the Jazz are back. Couldn't believe Hayward and Millsap outflopped the Clips 3 to 1 today.

Billups has been doing that play forever, hes pretty much the master of it. I wouldn't mind techs to any player that flops tbh.

Lol, what a shameless flop, and a game changing flop no less. Expect Stern to make an example out of this.

Billups has always been a seeking headsnapping pos. Nothing new here.

That said, if he was on the Heat.. it would be over. Billups/Chalmers/Wade seek-jobs would be too much for the nba.

First full on flop of the season for the team in 18 games and in a game where the other team flopped multiple times and that's all it takes to get trolled for flopping again. People say with the game on,the line, but Jazz were up double digitsin fourth and choked period.

I only wished it was CP who did that, that would of lit ISH on fire! lol.

In that situation, i guarantee, every single shooter pretends to fall down- it happens on almost every 3 point attempt when being closed out on EVERYBODY does it ON EVERY TEAM. Don't act like your team doesn't. In this case the ref called it wrong. Blame the refs.

Don't hate the playa, hate tha refs.

They are going to fine him $15,000 which he'll make back in 10 seconds on the court. Why should he or anyone stop doing it? :confusedshrug: If it helps your team win, enjoy!

Flip & Flop are still on the team. Only Reggie Evans went somewhere else

If you've watched the Clippers this year, you would know they haven't flopped really at all.

Chris and Blake have cooled on the flopping like crazy. I'll admit they flopped a lot last year but other than the Billups flop, I can't remember any blatant flops by the Clippers this year.

Reggie Evans was the main guy last year and he's already been fined.

This thread is just hilarious. Yes, Billups flop was an atrocious veteran move, but the Jazz really did outflop the Clippers last night and on top of it, why blame the players if the officials keep calling it?

To boot, how about the horrid foul call when DeAndre blocked Mo's lay-up but the Jazz got two free points which negated any flop?

Like Al said... I didn't see this angle or replay. I just saw it live and was tricked myself. Regardless like others are saying Millsap and Hayward had two flops a pieces which led to 5 made free throws.. this led to 2 yet we are going to lock onto the Clippers as floppers? This year the Clippers haven't had any blatant flops at all outside of this one so people should give them the benefit of the doubt.

to be fair i've watched a bunch of clippers games this year and they really are not flopping. last year it happened ALL THE ****ING TIME which was really obnoxious. and yes, contrary to what CF86 said, blake griffin flopped a ridiculous amount last year. but i don't think i've even seen it once this year from BG. he exaggerates contact sometimes but that's nothing to complain about; everybody does that. chris paul hasn't really flopped either so i don't see the clippers as a bunch of floppers. they have that reputation but you people need to watch a few games and you'll see they haven't been flopping much at all

Woah this is not the Quizno Im used to  . Btw never denied the Clippers flopping a ton last year because they did. What I argued about was the double standards and idea that the Clippers flopped more than the rest of the league combined. Spurs could flop 10 times in a game for example and MIGHT get a thread. Any Clippers flop and it was 10 threads of people shitting on the Clippers.

What a joke. I pray something like this happens to the Clipps in the playoffs and the other team gets a 'warning' in the off season.
