It's amazing. LeBron/Durant is paralleling Kobe/LeBron perfectly. With Kobe, LeBron fans constantly posted statistics that backed up LeBron being the better player while Kobe fans dismissed them stating Kobe didn't care about anything except a ring.

Along comes Durant, who has now surpassed LeBron in all of the same stats they used to use against Kobe, and suddenly the stats are meaningless. It's too good to be true

How is it paralleling perfectly when Durant has gone ahead on PER for the first time in his career? Pauk is the only one that cares about it.
Bron's still a better defender, rebounder, passer, and for all the talk of being a better scorer, Lebron still shoots a higher clip from the field.

Are you still mad that on public opinion maybe 2% of people will say Durant is a better player than Lebron? And of that public opinion maybe 1.9% of those 2% will say it simply in spite for Lebron?

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics

Lebron 28.2
Durant 27.7

Im not sure what your agenda is, what you are trying to say, but Lebron is the best player in the NBA no matter who takes the lead in PER as it unfortunately doesnt cover up the intangibles on both ends of the floor and the accolades currently recieved like lets say MVP, Championship, FMVP especially when they were recieved against that specific player you mentioned, PER is just a rating of your overall stats... although im not sure he will sustain the spot...

Lebron & Durant dont need PER, their games speak for themselves

I treat PER as nothing but what it was meant for, a rating system of a players numbers, which only helps to show what players are dropping the best numbers per minute (NOTHING ELSE)... PER doesnt even have to exist for you to see what players are dropping the best numbers, but it sure makes the job easier... unless you want to manually compare 500 players everyday to findout yourself....

Are you aware that the Thunder were favored to beat Miami last season, right? You had homecourt and everything and it still took a Miami collapse in game 1 to save you from getting swept.

Not a Miami fan (though I like Wade, but don't really care for the team), but Durant clearly should've fouled out on that charge with five minutes to go. At worst it's a makeup call, at best it wasn't considered a 'playoff foul' but it's really a non-issue either way.

You really think the Heat matching up against a no-star Grizzlies team would create more interest than seeing the 2 best players battle in the finals?

3. Talking about "actually watch the games" in this situation, but ignoring and ridiculing others when they say "watch the games" instead of using pure numbers.

4. The picture of the kid wearing the Bucks jersey in that picture reminds me of some Heat bandwagoner laughing at that kid for wearing it in Miami, not knowing that it was Ray Allen's jersey back in the day.
