At 0-7 in the CBA, T-Mac wasn't in the mood for shenanigans this morning (http://nba247365.com/?p=8831).

Too bad he didn't hit him in the face. Then that Chinese player wouldn't need to flop like this.

Not sure why T-Mac couldn't get an NBA gig. He's still better than about 40-50% of the league. I guess playing in China pays more?

NBA is pus-e whipped. He would have got tossed for that, probably even suspended a game.

He's gotten himself in a lot better shape than when he was meeting with those teams. Maybe it's resentment that fueled him. But if he tries out again for the NBA with that same physical condition, he should make it in on a squad.

I know for a fact their love for him doesn't come close to mine, yet they're willing to do stuff like this.
I guess they're just more demonstrative with the love they have, even if it is less in amount.

while i dont condone open acts of violence in basketball, if you are going to taunt a player like that dont expect them not to retaliate, especailly if that player is a former perennial All-Star and at one point one of the best players in the league.
i wouldve kicked him too

I'm disappointed the Lakers didn't pick him up :(
Would've been better than Ebanks at the backup 3.
I would say bitch move by McGrady if it weren't for the flop, so instead I say bitch move by the asian flopper.

I obviously mean for a player of his talent and ability his accomplishments don't do him any justice...dude just couldn't win even at his peak

He could probably still be a back-up Guard-Forward, 7th or 8th man, on a roster. But it might not be worth it at that stage of his career.
China will give him more minutes, more opportunity, and the limelight back(even if it's on a much lower scale than the NBA). Plus, he can probably make some money off commercials and ads over there.

McGrady always been about that life.
You guys don't remember summer 2003, FIBA games where he almost knocked out some poor Puerto Rican clown for taunting?
Cousin VC had to separate Mac from knocking his head clean off.

Im somewhat impressed with Tmac over in China. At least he ain't totally washed up like most people believes him to be. Despite his team being 0-7, his play has been above average. I believe he had 3-4 games where he scored over 30. But judging how bad his team is, he has to score the ball to even hope of winning any games. His team's 2nd best player is DJ Mengba. :facepalm
But looking at the incident, his elbow mightve crossed the line but the chinese guy deserved it too. Why would you taunt a player after making a 3 pter. But i guess he was butthurt when Tmac dunked over him in an earlier possession.

You don't cut the second best player on your team for poor performance.

What's his playoff career percentage?
Oh you're probably a Kobe fan who likes to ignore how Kobe had more opportunities on better teams and put down T-Mac for his losing playoff record.
T-Mac only had 1 legitimate shot at advancing in the postseason. In another series, he thoroughly outplayed Dirk Nowitzki on both ends of the floor, but his teammates failed to adequately support him. Yao put in some decent numbers but could only play 31 minutes per game.
His playoff career percentage has very little to do with him.
But, his W-L percentage in the playoffs is just a little below .500 in terms of a game-by-game basis, so it's not like he didn't put up a fight while being on worse teams.
