maybe im completely ignorant when it comes to the cba, but i thought contracts just had to match for the season and anything over for the next season would just be subject to luxury tax. Thus, making expiring contracts very valuable when it comes to trading players.

Also hope they can Gentry. I like the guy, but he's just not a smart coach sometimes. Makes stupid decisions.... gives players the green light to chuck shots all they want even when they're struggling, and emphasizes the team doing layups too much rather than just jamming the ball in the hoop.

I'm just not liking him as a coach. We need to start fresh with a new coach. I say promote Suns legend "Thunder Dan" Majerle to head coach and give him his first HC opportunity. I think players would respect him more.

1 and a half year later sadly nothing has changed. Thought he'd finally turned it around early this season. But although he no longer is immature on court, the potential is not impactful enough.
