Source tells http://ESPNLA.com Lakers hweighing other options at PG. Situation w/ Nash too unclear. Can't keep waiting while they lose.

Options are fairly limited, but Delonte West, Eddie House, etc. could help. Could do a small trade as well

They should be weighing options at the head coach and center spot too.

Besides being crazy as shit Delonte is a solid player and I'm surprised nobody has picked him up.
BEEN saying delonte would be useful for this team. if he is in good shape then he is exactly what the lakers need

Why not go for Calderon from Toronto? They've been looking to unload him, haven't they?

Trade Jordan Hill and Duhon for Chris Paul. Everybody wins.

Calderon and Bargnani for Pau or something like that as long as the salaries match.
They want to trade Pau and they want to get a point guard. But I think they could maybe get more for Gasol.

Honestly if they fired D'Antoni and rehired Mike Brown it would probably help them.

Who cares who they get? That PG will rarely touch the ball on offense anyway as Kobe will try to get 30+ again and lose. :confusedshrug:

Blake, World Peace and Jordan Hill for Lebron.
Mitch might be able to pull this off if Stern doesn't block it.

I don't know why. All the fans say is "We need a PG. We need a PG." They've won all these championships under Kobe and company with a point guard who is barely a starter in their prime. I don't get the big f*cking deal honestly. Point guard isn't the problem.

The FakerFans will say they need all members of team USA to play for them for cheap money and defer to Kobe.

Clippers are stacked, maybe Lakers?

Johnny Flynn? Also, isn't Michael Redd a FA? He's a good veteran, and great to come off the bench for Kobe.

You can have Grevis. Austin Rivers has showed some promise lately and Gordon is likely returning soon (probably not but still).
Also in before trade scenario involving Grevis+Anderson.

Morris and Duhon combined for 43 total points in the past 5 games. Duhon is more capable of Blake though, besides defense.

They're gonna have to cut somebody because they have 15 people. They could cut a PG.

The funny part is that I bet over half of the league's starting PGs have contributed more than the 4 PGs on LA's roster have combined so far.

Rumor has it ainge wants to do a deal for gasol and Nash for rondo + fab melo + C.Lee. Ainge must know something about cp3 not wanting to resign with the clippers.

I highly doubt that considering that Rondo has gotten a lot of good P.R. about how he held team functions and got the team to gel when the Ray Allen story broke.
He's basically the face of the franchise now and is a better PG than CP3. As much as I want that to happen, it's not.
Imagine if Lakers and Boston got into the Finals and they lose to the Lakers? Boston as of right now is a better team than the Lakers. So if Lakers do beat them in the Finals, they would be calling for Ainge's head.

Agreed
Phil was the correct choice for this job, now Lakers front office will have to kiss his ass after backstabbing him on this D`Antoni fiasco.
