11 in a row and 14 out of 15 including wins over LAC, LAL, Utah, San Antonio, Indiana, Philly, Golden State, and Houston with the only loss coming @ Boston when the Celtics played their best game of the season, yet OKC still had a chance to win late with Kevin Martin scoring 3 points on 14% shooting.

On this streak OKC is averaging

109.9 ppg
49.6 FG%
41.9 3P%
85.1 FT%
23.6 Ast/g
14.9 to/g
60.2 TS%
54.8 eFG%

And winning games by an average of 15.3 ppg

They're almost at 50/40/85 as a team :wtf:

Been a very impressive stretch. We have played something like 16 games at home though.. so it will be interesting to see what happens over the next month

If OKC can go 3-0 over their next 3, we might see something very special.

That would put them at 14 in a row with this schedule.

Dallas
@ Houston
Phoenix
Brooklyn
Philly
@ Toronto
@ Washington
Minnesota

20+ seems very possible if they get by ATL and Miami

that is not an easy schedule... mavs, rockets, nets, sixers, and wolves are capable of playing them tough and getting a win.

Durant playing defense is pretty crazy.

That and Ibaka scoring effortlessly...a lot.

So props to us for winning games we should be winning? But I do tend to agree.

The big picture is 13 of our next 15 games are on the road. This will be the real challenge. If we are top of the league by the end of that run .. then I would be pretty happy.

Best in the west until proven otherwise in the playoffs. Surprised with their start though with the trade.

OKC is great, although I think Memphis could be a bigger threat to them than anyone else in the West.

Realistically, Memphis are the dark horse threat to most teams. If OKC cant get to the finals this year, I see Memphis doing it, provided they stay healthy.

Its a bit of a Bermuda Triangle in the West atm imo Memphis is a tough match up for OKC, Clippers are a tough match up for Memphis and OKC is a tough match up for the Clippers.

i hate to admit but they are destroying every opponent jesus
its not the winning streak thats impressive have you guys seen how they destroy the opponents. yeah easy sched but a team should not destroy teams every game.

Clippers are one team they probably wanna avoid but I just mean title of best in the west has to be stolen in the playoffs. Btw guys OKC is winning by 13 ppg on this win streak, Clippers are winning by about 18 ppg if anybody was wondering.

I think the results of this season comes to show what kind of team OKC is. Not to say that they wont struggle. But grizz and clippers will be struggling against the Thunder too.

If OKC and Miami make the finals this year, it will be harder for Miami to beat OKC this year, they've improved since last year.

Okc made a good move keeping Ibaka, they obviously had a greater need at that position and ibaka proved himself worthy with his more refined skills on offense.

Ibaka+perkins with that new 7 footer and collison coming off the bench= miami gona struggle in the post.

All 3 teams in the west that up for contention (Memphis, Clippers and OKC) all have some good Bigs...which is miamis weakest link. I'd be really excited seeing Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph reach the finals and tear a new a$$hole in miami lol.

Erm, Clippers & Thunder are pretty much equal, neither side is a tough match up for the either.

The West this year, isn't going to be determined by seeding, but by match ups. I feel confident as a Clipper fan going against the Grizzlies & Thunder, so/so against the Lakers and still weary of the Spurs.

But yes, the Thunders run is amazing, when is the last time we have had two teams with double digit win streaks at the same time?

I don't care a lot about the regular season... it's all in how they finish. I hope this year they make the final step, but we will see. They have done a nice job thus far.

How the fvck are you still saying Memphis is a dark horse? They are top 4 in the west and have beaten almost every good team. They are contenders.

Hawks beat the Thunder without Josh Smith earlier this season, so I expect us to blow them out tomorrow.

Hawks best team in the NBA, get ready for that winning streak to be over, OKC.

this doesn't surprise me at all. This team is very talented and super tall! look at their starting five.. they're taller on almost any position than most teams and that makes it very difficult to play against them.

Except one of the most important, our short and shitty center..

What is helping them a lot is their stars have really stepped up, and the new guys are solid contributing. All of the starters are having better than career years in some stat or another.

When Durant and Westbrook are on fire like they were last night, they don't need anyone to play well.
