View Full Version : Kevin Love will demand a trade and he will go to Houston

He fits in PERFECTLY there. Him and James Harden know each other from their HS days. Houston likes to run, Love is the best outlet passer in the league. A stretch 4 that can trail the play and spread the floor for James Harden, Lin and Parsons.
Am I the only one who sees this???

No. I said he would not last in the Euroleague. Euroleague coaches demand defensive effort from all of their players. Kevin Love would not last long with the mentality of European basketball coaches.
It has nothing to do with how good he is. It's simply that his bullshit zero effort on defense act would not be tolerated in that style of basketball.

I can't believe you're even giving that an response. Any player who is an NBA all-star or a former NBA all-star who is still playing solid minutes in the NBA would dominate in Euroleague. Last year Kirilenko was the Euroleague MVP and DPOY, this year Sonny Weems is a contender to be Euroleague MVP. For Kevin Love it would be a major upset in Euroleague if he didn't win MVP and Final Four MVP

That being said it's a dumb argument because unless there's another strike or lock-out, which isn't going to happen for at least another 10 years, no NBA star is going over to Europe. At best maybe some solid NBA role players who at some point where stars, like Kirilenko last year, but he only went over in the 1st place because of the lock-out, it's just that he was a free-agent so he decided to stay the whole year.

Again. You're arguing semantics. Kirilenko was Euroleague MVP and DPOY which means he was voted the most valuable and best defensive player in Euroleague last year. Sonny Weems is in the discussion this year of being the most valuable player in Euroleague. So if you want to use, best, dominate, top, whatever, they are among the top, if not the best players in Euroleague.

Thatd be cool.
However they couldnt keep Amare on the roster. Point is that there is no way Lakers would take Amare. Yes he use to play with Lakers coach and pg but he has serious health issues. Maybe him playing a solid 20 games would change Laker minds? Then again New York would keep Amare if he was performing that well.

Not a diva nor is he an empty stat stuffer. He's stubborn and maybe carrying a recent sense of entitlement...but he's not a diva and he's a beast. Playing with a guy like Kidd would be great for him...next to Chandler and with Anthony on the team...he'd be terrific.

Another Diva (http://minnesports1.blogspot.com/2012/07/another-diva.html)
Just when things were looking good for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kevin Love has to open his big mouth. For how fun of a season it was, I thought that this was a turning point for the Wolves. Love and rookie Ricky Rubio became new BFF's and for the first time since the Kevin Garnett era, we were actually talking about the playoffs. For whatever reason though, Love still isn't satisfied and is letting his inner diva out.

K Love needs to settle down and play the ball we all know he is capable of. Then the Wolves will be injury free and go deep in the playoffs this season.... and all will be well.
He needs to turn that franchise into the killer team it can be, not pull a James and wheel out of town like a punk

Doubt the wolves make the playoffs without Love. Who's their go to guy in close games? Was watching the Knicks / Wolves game and it is clear they lost because they didn't have a go-to guy like the Knicks in Carmelo.

I predict it will be Shved. Yeah he has missed two game winners but that's how you get to that point, by taking the shot.
Barea also has icewater blood.
But Love & Pekovic are the pair, the Dynamic Duo and they need to figure it out
