GREAT high scoring game so far. Spurs were up by 12 at the end of the 1st but Rockets got it back to just down 2.

Lin with 9 points already. Getting to the rim with ease. Harden had a 3 and a 4 point play so far.

I watched the game. Rockets got outplayed by the Spurs. SA played efficient basketball while the Rockets turned the ball over too much and relied on the three ball far too often in the fourth when it wasn't falling for them

Most retardedly called game I've seen this year.

6 fouls on Asik/Greg Smith in the first quarter. Get both of our rim protectors out of the game by the end of first.

Rack up another 6 fouls on Lin/Harden by the second quarter so they can't play defense. By end of third, Harden gets 5 fouls and no longer contests shots. Lin gets his 4th foul.

Harden driving the whole game. Got his free throws but refs felt the need to equalize, resulting in the Rockets and Spurs shooting the damn same amount when Harden alone drove more than the entire Spurs team combined.

Tim Duncan gets two of his hacks called on his team; should have had 4 fouls by the middle of third quarter.

Of course it wasn't helped by the fact that Duncan played a game rivaling his career best and Manu couldn't miss single three pointer.

Duncan and Parker are treated like endangerd species by the refs. You cant even breath on them without being called a foul. The Spurs can thank the refs for this gift handed to them on a silver platter by the damn refs.

I doubt anyone could have gone with the Spurs tonight considering Duncan, Parker and Gino all played like it was 2004 again. Then you have a guy like Green who goes 5-7 from the 3pt line and as a team they shot 50% from the land of plenty and almost 60% from the field.Their offensive game was the best it has been all season and as Elliot said, this was the Spurs most emphatic offensive night interms of ball movement and off the ball movement.

For the Rockets to to toe to toe with such a team with the youngest roster in the entier league shows how good this team can be in the future.

:oldlol: Rockets scored a lot of their points in the fourth in garbage time(after the Spurs went up by almost 20). Only a Houston fan would spin this game in the Rockets favor when the Spurs shot more efficiently from the field and had less turnovers.

God you sound like such a whining bitch.

Seriously.

Btw, how did that game rival Duncan's best? Of this season? In points I gues. But do had 5 rebounds. This drain alone he's put up nearly 30 and 20 boards. So it doesn't even rival his best this seaso. Let alone best ever.

Rockets haven't beaten the Spurs all season (including pre) but in your delusional mind the Spurs needed the refs help to beat the Rockets. I guess the Spurs leading for 99% of game some how made you think the Rockets had it won. But oh yes, the Rockets big men not being in foul trouble would have stopped the Spurs from making threes. Genius logic there.

Riddle me this dumb dumb. The refs are out to help the Spurs? So then why does Harden get his fifth foul in the 3rd and then preceded to not foul out when he plays in the fourth? Would have tremendously helped the Spurs to have him out the game don't you think? Ah, but alas he payed the fourth without receiving one foul to take him out.

Either you're stupid and need the ref excuse to rationalize the loss or the refs just suck at helping the Spurs and forgot to finish the job.

I dont kow why i bother but anyway, if you watched the game, in the first and 2nd quarter, Asik and Greg Smith were getting slaughterd by the refs that even the biggest Spurs homer known to makind in Sean Elliot said that they were getting some cheap calls.Asik's 3rd personal was so farsical that even Duncan couldnt believe how soft it was. I suggest you go and watch THE REPLAY.

Talking about Harden that 5th foul on the jump ball was even more farsical then the garbage fouls called earlier. When you'r best player has 5 fouls in the 4th, he will have to play passive ad thats what happen, Harden went into his shell. You know you'r getting jibbed when the homer announcers are feeling sorry for you.

When did i say we were as good as the Spurs?. Infact i said if they replicate that ball movement and shooting, noone on this planet can beat them.I said for a young team like the Rockets to go toe to toe with a stacked team like that for 3 quarters despite getting bad calls is encouraging and inspite of a loss is another step in the right direction.

Duncan scored 30 at his age, as a big man, with the wear and tear on his body. Just gotta respect the technique. His skills and fundamentals allow him to do it on any given night.

spiegel

Duncan is the best bg man right now in basketball. His defence is still elite but his offence and the ability stepout and drain the jumpers is what makes him so tough to guard. You know he will kill you in the post, but when he has his jumpers falling, the guy is virtually impossible to stop.

The most complete big guy in basketball right now. He achors that teams defence will superlative class and ease.Whats scary is you know come the playoffs he still has a gear or two left in him to raise. The Spurs with him, Gino, Parker and now the red hot shooting of Danny Green are such a good team that when they move the ball like last night, they are impossibe to beat.
