Great picture and great photo work capturing the two greatest players of all time. I need to order this. One day I can tell people that these are the two greatest players of all time. Put their names in a hat and the name that comes up is the GOAT.

One guy is an athletic specimen with less skill, huge vertical and hands.

The other is more skilled and super athletic ability.

It also leaves to the imagination of what that play could have been......

I'm thinking either Kobe stopping and pulling up for a jumper.

Stops and crosses MJ while his momentum takes him past Kobe.

Kobe taking it straight to the hoop for a dunk.

Spin move pull up jumper.

Look at the leg muscles and the build up of his physical frame. Strong shoulders and legs meant for leaping.

MJ is not too shabby either. Almost perfect build for playing basketball.

That was actually one of my favorite all star games of all time. While MJ won the MVP, the talk of NYC was the emergence of Kobe Bryant.

I will find his highlights of that game. Definitely stole the show. You should pick another game besides that game.

Then you remember it wrong. Kobe was visibly nervous and anxious going against an MJ determined to show up the young buck.

Which he did ... even causing Kobe's big brother teammate, Shaq to goal tend an MJ shot after Jordan put the moves on young Bryant in the post.

Kobe at one point tried crossing up MJ, yet it didn't have any effect what so ever. Bean had a few nice dunks, but the talk of the weekend was MJ, per usual.

You were obvious too young to remember. The talk of the town was Kobe and they even did an entire pre game show about Kobe. MJ, insecure as he was, even said he hasn't gone anywhere yet.

LOL kid, the entire weekend was about MJ being MSG and about his last go around in the All Star Game.

MJ was definitely prepared to show up the hyped up HS kid.

And the hell are you talking about? Kobe featured a "freeze out" that was akin to what MJ faced early in his career w/ Isiah. GP and many others didn't like the fact that fans voted in the hyped up 6th man. Who at that time wasn't necessarily deserving.

Stern was begging MJ to stay around when he received the MVP trophy. And we all know those turn around fadeaways and up and unders that had Kobe in knots trying to defend him.

Oh, and 6>5

:pimp:

Like I mentioned too young to remember. Which happens to all of us as we age.

I remembered that game perfectly and that game was pretty much changing of the guard. You got MJ, Malone and Payton and then you got the emerging young guys that basically stole the show.

All the highlights from that 98 came from Garnett, Kobe and Shaq. It wasn't one of MJ's most remarkable games even though he won MVP.

They already knew it could be MJ's last game. They let him do his thing while the younger players were entertaining the New Yorkers

3 plays come to mind from that game and the game is remembered for it....Kobe 360 dunk, KG to Kobe alleyoop and behind the back hook shot from Kobe. All iconic moments from that game.

I said Kobe basically stole the show. The weekend was about it being MJ's last all star. Every time it was talked about as his last game and the heir apparent was Kobe. It was hyped up as Kobe taking the throne and he did not disappoint.

The fans walked away saying, wow!...we are in good hands with the emerging Bryant.

Space Jam was that good, a classic. Should've been up for some Oscars. Shame it got snubbed for best actor, best supporting actor (Bugs n Lola), and best picture. It's the academy and their jewish / homo loving agenda.

Athletes commenting on social issues has never made a difference.

I don't see Kobe chiming in on political or social issues, either. Which is a good thing. Who needs jocks opinions on that type of stuff? As if they're going to make a difference.

How are you going to bring that up and not bring up MJ's social activities? The Jordan foundation, etc. Nash does all kinds of charitable things, too. As does Shaq.

They all do positive stuff with their money. It's encouraged by the league itself.

Kobe, Jordan, LeBron, Wade, no one is doing any TRUE fights against injustice or social movements akin to say Muhammed Ali or Jim Brown.

Like I said, jock's voices on these issues aren't necessary. Think about Monta Ellis trying to educate his opinion on a world topic.

What I gave you was fairly simple and MAJOR accomplishments. I didn't need to go in depth showing all the superior playoff performance stats, career averages that all trump Kobe's numbers.

And those tangible awards aren't myth. They're facts. :facepalm

Bwahahaha

On the surface. Behind close doors like ANY other athlete he's cheating on his wife, etc.

That's why his demonic, skank of a wife left him. Everyone in LA hated that chick. She is literally one of the original money grubbing whores. She was a BACKUP dancer. How do you think she got that gig?

Kobe's worked damn hard on his public image after being accused of rape. He's gone to hell and high waters to publicly convince people, so he could get his endorsement deals back. Learn the game, son. The contrived nature of it has been commented on numerous times before.

MJ helped homeless, underprivileged kids, developed charitable foundations for at risk youth. He literally would meet with a group of kids on the terrible west side of Chicago, right by the old stadium (where it is nothing but ghetto) and would check up on a group of kids, and their grades after every game.

Would randomly stop and shoot hoops with kids too. MJ was VERY charitable. Don't confuse him selling shoes, and developing Nike SINGLE HANDEDLY into the global conglomerate it is today, with him not caring about less fortunate.

Before you fly off and talk crap, do your research first. I bet you and your cronies (Alpha, Alborx, Immortld24, Jacks3) wish you were Kate Faber.

Pathetic. :oldlol:

MJ donated his two Wizard contracts in their ENTIRETY to the 9/11 victims families fund. That right there is like 3 or 4 million dollars.

MJ was a great humanitarian. Just because he remained PC while being a businessman and didn't tackle social issues in interviews doesn't mean he didn't care. Why would he alienate himself like that anyway? Kobe doesn't do that, LeBron doesn't do that, hell ... Magic and Bird didn't do that, either.
