I'll say this. If Kobe gets them in, It'll be a major accomplishment that should add to his legacy IMO.

But considering they're a bunch of old players, relying on Metta World Peace and an injured Dwight Howard to play defense for them...it's not happening.

At this rate i.e. not making the playoffs, this has to be the most disappointing season for a team in NBA history. This was a team that people were talking about could be the greatest team ever, and they won't even make the playoffs. Sure, superteams have gotten together and didn't reach expectations i.e. 97 Rockets, 04 Lakers, 11 Heat, but it wasn't anywhere near this bad .
