Looks like Casspi's trade demands have scared the Cavs into giving him playing time......well not really I guess they have no one else.

Wouldn't even be a good D-League team

Those 4 years of sucking ass sure paid off, didn't they? Would have been nice to still have Livingston, though Delly gets the job done.

Would be even nicer to still have Zeller, (he was turning into a decent 5), Wiggins, and Bennett.

Why Lebron have to come home and ruin everything? :rant

Lol I agree with Wiggins/Bennett. Wish we didn't have to ship away our future for a chance to win now. Though I was never really sold on Zeller, could run the floor nice for a big man but never really had that inside presence on offense or defense and caused a couple of head scratching moments for me last year. The fact that we got rid of our biggest team cancer (Jarrett Jack) in the Zeller deal makes it completely worth it imo.

We could have rid ourselves of that Jack contract for a lot less if we had more time. Obviously, it was a hurried thing because they knew LeBron was announcing and they had to make room. But, it would be great to have Zeller right now.

He had really improved by the end of last season and I truly believe he could be a very good rotational big on a very good team. Really, Karasev and a 2nd rounder should have been enough for a team to take on Jack, whose contract isn't awful if he is in the right environment (that wasn't Cleveland). He was very good for GSW.

Karasev has become a future star in Brooklyn, do you know that? He's like having a extra top ten draft pick, going to become a huge player for the Nets. Every day since Pierce left he gets better and better.

Have to admit, I haven't been following Karasev's ascension to superstardum. :oldlol:

However, I did really like the draft pick when we took him. He didn't really get a shot last year under MB's system. Still very young, too. I think he was one of the youngest players in the league last year.

Idk about in real life because he never got pt but dudes basically a star in 2k even though nobody realizes it. He has quick shot that he can launch from anywhere on the court mid-range or three, poster dunk on occasion, and has decent handles. I normally score more with him than Kyrie and Dion. Will be missed :(

Yeah, I think we've now achieved a championship-caliber roster, but that doesn't mean it is going to happen. I think there are 3-5 other teams that also have championship-caliber rosters. At the end of the season, all but one will be sulking... Or, hell, maybe there's a team out there that comes out of nowhere like Dallas in '11 and shocks everyone, leaving all of the "championship-caliber" rosters in its dust?

I still think the Cavs have one move left in them. They may choose to wait until the trade deadline to pull off a bigger move than they can right now, but they have plenty of assets yet to use. Still have all of their own draft picks and a first-rounder from Memphis, all of that filler that they got from Utah and a young, movable piece in Tristan Thompson to dangle for a rim protector, which is really all we need at this point.

Although, LeBron's friendship with Thompson may make his being traded unlikely... still lots of assets to use. I feel like there is one more major piece that will be added... and Ray Allen if he so chooses.

Ideally Finals, hopefully WCF, at the minimum 2nd round

Yeah it looks good, but the frontline is quite shaky healthwise (well, AV and Love anyways). If they address this, then they should be good to go, but another injury puts them in Miami position of having to play subpar players to compensate for the top heavy studs.
