Very good defense.

His ability to pick up the opposing guard full court adds a dynamic to the defense. The Celtics who have struggled at times defensively have looked far more like them selves in the last few days.

He'll probably get even better. His season just started.

The future of the guard position will be fun to watch with guys like Bradley, Bledsoe, Shumpert.

Bradley will be a great player if he develop his PG skills. I dont think he'll have as much success as a SG.

Tony Allen's better defensively.

The guy is just straight up fierce, always got black eyes and bruises on his face from defending so damn tight.

Iguodala is definitely better at this point, Tony Allen arguably is as well. I think Bradley is in that Paul George, AK47, Deng, Gerald Wallace (on the perimeter), Sefolosha, Metta group (Shumpert is probably here when healthy as well). I guess that makes him a legitimate fringe all-defensive team selection.

whoever taught this kid to play defence did us all a favor as basketball fans

he's quick and really long but lots of players are. This guy really moves his feet well and considering he just came back from being injured for an extended period, he doesn't look at all winded or tired from pressing full court all game long

He is good but still not there with Tony Allen.

Wade struggled against ancient Ray Allen. What's he gonna do against young bucks Bradley and Courtney Lee? Too many bullets in the gun this year. Just need to stay healthy.

So do the Celtics beat Miami in 7 games if Boston is healthy?

I barely see Bradley scored on, he is so good at getting to his mans spot before him and has a knack for where the man is going. He rarely falls for shot fakes and seriously deserves DPOY if the Celtics keep playing like this

Bradley is capable of establishing the defensive identity into a team.

What the hell is Wade still trying to draw a foul by flailing his leg that high? Hes lucky he landed on his back or whatever the hell happened.

Yea, i'd probably have him at the very top of the list.

And in that video, those weren't even his best defensive possessions... Like the first two plays shown in that video were him getting slightly beat off the dribble and then recovering and getting a block. The best defensive plays are when you don't even allow the player to get by you in the first place and thus never even need to attempt to block their shot.

:oldlol:

Of course, account for your injuries but just don't take into account Wade was also injured when playing last season.

Don't think hes too worried. 26/5/5 on 48% shooting over the last two playoff series with the Celtics. Wade's really struggling, right? :oldlol:

WTF at the play with Paul George or was it Danny Granger. Dude posts up Bradley, takes one dribble then proceeds to take 4 steps in FRONT of the ref and doesn't get a travelling call. The nba is absolutely pathetic :facepalm

Kawhi is up there as one of the best perimeter defenders.

He did a great job on Kobe yesterday, Bryant had some kind words for him after the game.

Bryant had a sluggish start offensively and the Lakers fell behind 54-45 at the half.

His first basket came with less than a minute remaining in the first quarter and he closed the half 2 for 6 from the field. Bryant credited his poor shooting to Spurs second-year player Kawhi Leonard.

''It was Kawhi's defense,'' Bryant said. ''He did a good job.''

so pretty much the same as has been the case for the last four years? where all the celtics have to do is stay healthy?

except they are a team of 30 year olds, so there will always be injuries. and when the celtics lose, we can blame the injuries, and act like they arent pretty predictable, and act like they arent a by product of having such an old team

You don't have Sefolosha in that top tier right now? I guess he's had some games this year where he's gotten lit up by Kobe and Joe Johnson. But he's also had equally impressive games of shutting down Parker, CP3, and Harden. I don't know, though, it's hard to say he's definitively better than most of the other guys you listed.

"Team of 30 year olds"

Celtics 30+ players in the rotation: Terry, Pierce, Garnett
Heat 30+ players in the rotation: Wade, Haslem, Miller, Allen, Anthony

I've only watched like 10 OKC games this season, so perhaps I'm underselling him (just like I've seen a disproportionate number of Nuggets game this season for whatever reason, so I might be overrating Iggy). Either way, perimeter defense is more art than science IMO, so it's rather inexact.
