Tell me please. How is this team of overrated individuals is going to win it all if they lose to the Utah Jazz. With 45 sec remaining LeBron James chokes and throws the ball away to the other team. Then they proceed to lose the game. It seems as if LeBron has reverted back to his previous state of choking in the 4th quarter. Wade 11 points, Bosh 1 rebound? WTF?

The. Playoffs. Are. All. About. Matchups.

Miami won't face any teams with bruising frontcourts in the East (Indiana was the closest thing the conference had to offer last season), so this isn't a problem they'll have to deal with unless Memphis or LA (possibly SA as well) comes out of the West.

They're another potential foil, if you get this current Boozer. There's a lot of finesse in Noah's game though, so I don't know how bruising they'll be in a 7 game series. I can definitely see it though.

Lakers...sorry, I answered that way out of habit. I guess either LA really would pose that problem though.

Miami is probably hoping OKC comes out of the West IMO. They're not going to be at a marked disadvantage based on matchups alone, so if they're beaten it'll be at their own game.

The 2011 Bulls had better quality depth as far as their 9 man rotation, and didn't have their explosive lead guard wasn't coming off an ACL/MCL injury.

Meanwhile, Miami is far more offensivly diverse and deeper than they were in 2011. Yeah, I think the same result is likely to occur. But that's just me.

Because they are just coasting right now... they are not putting up their full effort and understandably so, they have the #1 record in the east and thats all that matters... be around when playoffs start.

Exactly. I swear people on here only watch highlights and box scores. Heat were playing rather apathetically. I stopped watching the game in the 3rd because I was bored by their apparent lack of enthusiasm or interest.

The regular season doesn't matter to Miami. They won the championship already last year and probably are just cruising it. It doesn't matter really because nobody in the East is going to take them down in the playoffs. And no matter they seed, they gonna have to play NY anyways. So nothing matters in the regular season for miami. Just the finals. Lebron and Wade are probably more focused on the strippers in miami right now. They making millions.

Any team can lose to Utah at home, and it happens quite often to many good teams. Also, the Heat don't match up very well with Utah inside. They had LeBron on Jefferson....

On a side note... Hayward really is starting to come into his own. Good to see. He is shooting lights out from 3 and not afraid to take big shots.

It's a legit question. They have some very glaring flaws as a team, which is why last year's run was such a monumental struggle, trailing in 3 consecutive series. They became the first team to win a championship with no size in NBA history. Think about that for a second, their starting front line from late-ECF was Bosh and Battier. That's ZILCH interior D and rebounding. And with Bosh moving to full-time C this season, they have gone from 1 league-worst position from last season(center) to 2 - PF(Haslem/Batteir) & PG(Chalmers/Cole).

So you're looking at a team with no size and no production from 2 of the 5 positions on the floor. Add Wade's decline to it and it's easy to see why they're struggling so much.

WolfGang
01-15-2013, 11:49 AM
The Heat only lose because Lebron is probably the best PF/C on their team. They really need more talent so Lebron can stop doing 85% of the work.

Wade has never been a shooter and is just chilling at the moment. He will come alive when they need it.

LeBron threw the ball directly into Bosh's hands. The OP said LeBron threw the ball away. Those are two different things, so I thought I'd point it out.
