Heat Milestones:

The Miami Heat forward is 18 points away from becoming the 38th player in
NBA history to score 20,000 points.
That in itself isn't necessarily the history part. It's the fact that the three-
time MVP will become the youngest to reach that level. He will be 28 years, 17 days old on Wednesday.

LeBron happy about milestone, not scoring (http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/miamiheat/post/_/id/16611/lebron-happy-about-milestone-not-scoring)

At the other end of LeBron's 4,998 assists (http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/miamiheat/post/_/id/16631/at-the-other-end-of-lebrons-4998-assists)

It's A VC3!!!

“Getting the 5,000 assists seems like more of an accomplishment to me than the scoring,” James said. “Chris Paul just got his 5,000th assist [last month] and it’s cool to have the chance to join him. I never have seen myself as a scorer.”

I agree with that, that scoring milestone is a cool accomplishment... but 5000 assists is a much more unique accomplishment for a non-PG at age 28, did you know Lebron is on pace to be the 1st non-PG in NBA history to be on the top 10 all-time assist leaders list? That milestone will be as untouchable as any record in NBA history unless you think some non-PG in the future will come and average consistenly more APG than Lebron (which means 8 apg for example).... very unlikely...

Whats scary is that if Lebron was a scorer (focused on scoring) he would have done even more impressive scoring milestones... including if he was only focusing on passing...

I hope Miami actually shows up and plays with a sense of urgency. You can usually tell if Miami will win the game or not in the first 6-12 minutes.

Pretty impressive. Assuming he pulls it off tonight, he'll have done it in fewer games than Shaq, Bird, Kobe, and a lot of other all-time greats.

Miami might get caught looking forward to tomorrow night's matchup, which against the Warriors could be dangerous. Regardless Lebron should pass 20,000 points, which is a hell of an accomplishment. Congrats to him.

I'm thinking more like 30,000 points, 9,000 rebounds and 9,000 assists. Still, that's higher totals in the three biggest basketball categories than any other player ever. If LeBron can hit those marks along with 3 titles and 4 or 5 MVP awards, I don't know how you keep him out of the top five.

Pittman's defensive instincts are extremely poor. He cannot defend without fouling/hacking at all. He simply isn't a very good pro.

When you're still getting sent to the D-League in your third season, you pretty much suck.

Lebron is a reluctant scorer on the low block. He wants to pass from there more than anything. I don't know why teams don't start out with single coverage first and see what he has down there before compromising their defense with unnecessary double-teams that give up dunks and wide open shots.

How these so called Experts for ESPN gonna pretend like this game shows that the Warriors are frauds?

You can tell they don't really follow the NBA. They take a quick peek at the NBA newswire, and go to work.

A game without possibly their 2 most talented players, yes I'm counting Bogut. But without Curry, how they gonna act like their transition offense got exposed by the Heat's awesome defense....their ****ing point guard isn't playing!!!!!

There are 2 players that can create a shot for the Warriors. Curry and his backup Jack. They're crowding Jack, and the warriors are lost and paying for it.

This exactly.
It's funny when people say they are struggling. Their whole defensive scheme is dependent on the amount of effort they put in. They could care less about random games in the season, but when it matters, or when they want to send a message, they can turn it up just like that.

Bosh is playing horrible for his level of talent.
He is just not getting lot of clean shots around the basket, Wade and Lebron are taking turns pounding the ball and expecting Bosh to be their spot up shooter like Chalmers when the shotclock is down. Where is the awesome Wade/Bosh pick n roll or Lebron/Bosh pick n pop we saw in the playoffs? Bosh is turning into Gasoft because they treat him like a role player.

His rebounding has no excuses though, even when he grabs one, someone snatches it outta his hands and he drops to the floor like a beyatch. He holds the ball too high instead of bringing it down, he wasn't this soft early in the season or the playoffs. King Boshtritch will be back.

Warriors lost 4 out of 5 and have to play the spurs, clippers, and thunder. They will fall to 23 and 17, the nuggets will catch them, and Faried or Danillo will get the all star nod over Lee, while Garnett starts in the east.

Perfect storm, not going to read too much into this game.

1. Heat coming off bad losses, needed a win.
2. Heat lost to Warriors at home, and LeBron wanted revenge.
3. No Curry, the Warriors biggest asset against the Heat.

3 losses in a row though, hopefully Curry is back for our next game. :(

Just got back from this game....lucky me it was not a game at all and I spent $165 on each ticket.
Milestone??? I guess but call me when Lebron breaks the all time mark.
But I got to say watching LeBron live....simple amazing. And I'm not talking about his strength and speed...but his court vision and passing. The man is flawless. I don't cheer for the guy but he more then has my respect.
Really if you never seen him live you need to go see him while he is in his prime.

They beat a struggling, decent, but injured team. People aren't gonna stop buying this propaganda are they?.

I'm not saying the Heat can't play great ball, but this isn't a game to say that....they can turn it on bullcrap.

Tomorrow should be interested vs the undefeated Lakers.

It should at least be a better test
