The Heat's main issues are defensively vs big men, Pau isn't as bad as he's been with the Lakers. Part of the reason the Lakers' bigs have trouble is due to their back court not keeping their men on check. Pau is also playing discouraged which happens to players when they lose motivation. A new fire will be lit under Pau and he won't be as bad defensively.

Make no mistake about it, he IS the most skilled big in the league, and has been for years. Shit, just last year he was in talks as being THE best center in the L. I doubt that he's declined that dramatically in that short a time without a major injury. We just saw flashes of how good he still can be vs Tdot.

It's too bad because Pau was great for LA, and still can be much better than he has been, but it's clear that he doesn't belong on this team anymore. He's 32, and has been the most underutilized player on the Lakers, and clearly he's unhappy about it. And I don't blame him.
