I saw that. That was so cool. I am sure winning that money was huge for the fan. But getting that love from the King, had to be the topping on the cake. And you could tell that the interaction by Lebron was legit. Nothing fake about it. That was pretty cool of Lebron to do that. :applause:

Yeah we had that too in college. Lay up was like $25, free throw was $50, three pointer was $100 and then if you made the half court it was $1k.

I believe this was sponsored by carfax rather than the Miami Heat. They interviewed both the guy and the carmax spokesperson, and you'll notice during the shot they made him put on a yellow carfax jacket.

I'm sure this kind of thing only happens once a season up until someone makes the shot.

It would have been cooler if both entire benches rushed the court and tackled the guy and then started rejoicing together lol.

It honestly looked like some of the Pistons were thinking about it when they saw LeBron running in but with the lack of Heat support they decided against it.

He definitely seems more likable in general now than The Decision/Check My $tats/Sideline Dancing days. I think finally getting that ring has made him a bit more humble and chill now.

I think what humbled him was losing in such a humiliating fashion in 2011. He was very likable last year. Very composed and respectful even in games that were clearly won. Even told Chalmers to stop showboating in that one game. Compare that to the Lebron that danced in the Chicago game or even the one that made such a show of beating of Boston in 2011 (he and Wade were hugging each other and damn near crying and sh*t. It was ridiculous).

He's definitely a more level headed, adult minded individual now. As much as I hate the ESPN "he's a better person now, and that's why he won" profiles, I think it might be accurate in this instance.

It used to never take a championship for him to demonstrate pure joy and love of the game. He used to do it every night.

The comment is based on the reality that since the decision his life has been scrutinized and torn apart daily.

This hug, and this smile, had nothing to do with holding a trophy or bowing down to receive a gold medal. That was my point.

As I've always said...none of you were here...you didn't experience it...you all think Cleveland is a piece of shit and that nobody could have a life here...but I have total comfort that you just don't know.

The look on his face, rolling around on the floor, reminded me of the kid I watched nightly before everyone - including me - began hating me.
