Never a feared player ONCE in this league. Never won as a number #1 option. Could have easily been substituted for numerous other players and fhe Heat wouldve won the title last year.
All you have is undeserved defacto all star appearances Chris

Basketball HoF is very easy to get into, it's nothing like the NFL or MLB for example. If Bosh can win 2 more titles he will probably make the HoF. That would make him a 3x NBA champion, 2x Olympic Gold medalist (at least), 2x FIBA WC Gold medalist (at least,) with very nice career numbers.

Even though it's really easy to get into the basketball hall of fame but what has Bosh done to even warrant this conversation.

He led the Toronto Raptors into the playoffs, and Raptors won the Atlantic Division title in the 2006-07 NBA Season. If the Heat wins a couple of championships. Bosh will be a future hall of famer.

I think Chris Bosh is full of himself. What has he done that has stood out? Does he rebound and get lots of 20-10 games? I seriously think Chris Bosh is the most overrated player in the league. He stood out in Toronto because he was the number one option, but now look at how he is on a great team. How can he be a lock for hall of fame when he never provided the impact of even Griffin, Prime gasol, or kevin love?

You need signature games and highlights. You need awards. What award has Bosh won? All Rookie and one all-nba second. Some player of the week, 1 player of the month, CMONSON.

8 time all star (getting to 10 will solidify his case), once top 10 in MVP voting and all-NBA second team, averaged 20 and 10 three times, twice led a rather negligible team to the playoffs as a first option then won a title as an All-Star third option (and for those who diminish his contribution to the Heat, don't forget he outscored LeBron in the 2011 Finals).
If the Heat win at least one more title, he's got a very good shot: essential pieces on multiple champs tend to get consideration, so adding in the fact that he proved he can lead his own team he's a legitimate candidate.
Let's also not forget the little personal details that could matter in the process, such as his being associated with the legendary 2003 draft and seen as a part of a "trio" with LeBron and Wade, as well as his weirdness which makes him more memorable.

Griffin? really?Win something other than a rigged dunk contest before you say he has had more impact than a multiple all-star with a ring. Same with Kevin Love, Love's stats are empty, Wolves have not been competitive, not even like Bosh's Raptors teams.

The only difference between this clown and Vin Baker is LeBron and Wade.
Bosh will pass Baker in every major statistical category next year. Bosh also had a 5 year streak with better seasons than any single Vin Baker year.
Though Baker never had Wade or LeBron, the reason Bosh will make the hall is because of his years without them.
Baker played with good players as well, early Ray Allen, prime Gary Peyton, and for better or worse Glenn Robinson. Vin Baker always shrunk in the playoffs the few times he got there, where Bosh has typically played to his regular season level.

That resume should not make Bosh a HOF'er. I would argue that he has never been a great player, and HOF's should be reserved for the greats. He's only made 1 All NBA Team. All Star games mean sh*t since we know he doesn't deserve to be there this year. But the basketball HOF is so watered down he will just add to it.
i don't think bosh is a HOF level type of talent, but i think he'll probably make it based on his entire basketball resume. those guys usually look at that sh!t more than anything.

How is this not a given? There has been one player in the history of the game that made 8 All-Star games and didn't make the hall. So is it crazy to think that as an 8 time all-star you would be in the hall?
Nevermind he is only 28 and will accumulate some significant totals before he is out of the league.

If Chris Mullin gets in...
5 straight 25ppg seasons over 50%.
2 Olympic gold medals.
4 time all NBA selections.
Considered one of the best mid-range jump shooters in the history of the game.
Plus there is his collegiate career.
Bosh really has nothing on Mullin.

i laugh at people who think making the playoffs in the east is some amazing achievement especially during the early and mid 2000s.
in 07-08 there was a 29 game disparity from 1-8 in the east while only a 7 game disparity in the west.
making the playoffs in the east meant as much as yao ming making the all star team when he was injured for the whole season

Chances are Bosh will get in the HOF. He's known to be a 20-10 guy and will have most likely 10+ All Star appearances. However when u are talking HOF u are compared to the greats of ALL TIME! In comparison to the Top 10 GOAT caliber PF's, he's not on their level in my opinion peak value wise. Even with guys like Larry Johnson, Derrick Coleman, or Shawn Kemp, is Bosh better than them peak value wise? I would say NO! Bosh and Joe Johnson are two guys who may end up with around 10 All-Star apperances. But for some reason, neither guy in my book really says HOF! Bosh is a very skilled big man.
Thing is he's not a dominant scorer like Dirk, Hayes, Barkley, Pettit. or Mailman. He's not a great defender like Duncan, KG, or McHale is. He's not a great rebounder like Duncan, KG, Rodman, etc. Nor is he dominant on the block like Duncan, McHale, or Hayes. Bosh is a player who is very good at everything, a great midrange big man shooter, and very athletic for a big. But the TRUE GREATS of all time are dominant in at least one facet of the game. I can't really say Bosh is DOMINANT in terms of scoring, defense, passing, or rebounding. Even a guy like Rodman was dominant at two of the four. Not just good or very good, but DOMINANT!
Just keeping real on Bosh, even though his accolades can still add up and get him to the HOF. Getting with Wade and Bron will only help his case and ring count. But is Bosh like a Nique, Mailman, Stockton, AI, English, Gervin, Barkley, Ewing, etc. who is so great that he can make the HOF without a ring, I SAY NO BY A A LONGSHOT! So Bosh is fortunate he got a ring to help his case. Guys like Bosh, Sheed, JJ, etc. are as talented as the best, but they don't DOMINATE like the best or their skills dictate. I put Bosh in that group of top 15-20 caliber players in the L for an era but not really a top 10 guy for an era.

He had the most hollow numbers as alpha for those Raptor teams. Didn't they struggle to even make the playoffs?
I'm not going to say he's not HOF, he's going to ride Bron and Wade's coat tails to probably 2 - 3 rings, which will mean he will likely get HOF buzz.
Who is more HOF worthy, or flat out the better player: Pau Gasol or Chrish Bosh?

I couldn't care less about some arbitrary stats. Bosh should not be a Hall of Famer. If someone can construe stats to make him a Hall of Famer then it also shows the problem with just looking at stats.
I couldn't care less about the numbers. You're either a Hall of Famer or you're not.
And not everyone in the Hall deserves to be either. (Inb4, "Well other guys with 'insert arbitrary numbers here' are in!")

Both notions to Gasol.
