I can't beleive how much my team sucks this year.

I honestly feel like the last game was the last nail hammered into this season. Everyone sucked at the line, they let a substantial lead disappear, and couldn't keep Beasley from scoring. Oh, and Dwight got hurt. This team deserves to plummet to the bottom of the west. I want to kick each and every Laker in the balls right now. Yes, that includes Pau. :(

Can you effectively build a winner around Dwight? Peak DWight got a team of shooters to the finals but he looked bad in close games.

His dominance is not Shaq where u dealt with shortcomings.

He's going to be 28 years old this year and the Lakers should just ride with Gasol and Kobe until their legs fall off. You aren't winning a ring with Dwight as the guy because of the assets you currently have.

Gasol has been pretty durable and he plays better as a Center than PF right now. the Lakers should look to acquire an athletic PF with consistency.

I just think even if LA can offer him the most money...They dont have assets to quickly retool. Let it ride with PAU KOBE and NASH. Their situation is almost similar to Celtics. Blow it up or wait 2 years when contracts are off the books and rebuild. They aren't getting a first round pick this year.

Dwight is not good for the chemistry right now, they play better when hes not played. Gasol is still a good center, LA needs either Earl Clark to take the next step, or an athletic 4 who can hit midrange and board.

good ball movement plus dwight had an unearned rep of being dangerous on O so he draw atention, Shaq called it out day 1

Right, cos coaches tell their guys to double and triple a guy who is terrible on offense all the time. That's what what pissy fan boys think to justify angsty opinions like "Dwight should never touch the ball on offense" when the Lakers have a great half against a bad team. Like I said, knee-jerk.

The truth is Dwight had a very good knack at recognizing when a double team was coming, knowing where it came from, and passing to the man he knew was open as a result of said double team...from which a lot of Orlando's great ball movement sprung as the defense tried to rotate late. A lot of the Magic's offense during their deep playoff runs ran through Dwight. They never went the distance because, as we all know, you live and die by the three in the playoffs.

But hey, you wanna say he's useless to your team...more power to you. When Nash, Kobe and Gasol are gone and you're building around Jordan Hill and Jodie Meeks...

Just making an observation. When I got home and turned the game on, the Lakers just hit a shot to take a 61-32 lead. And I thought the ball was pretty clearly above the cylinder on that Clark putback dunk, but trying to judge that on TV is damn near impossible, so I'll trust the referee's judgement.

Dude, hes not useless, hes a good defender. Just face it, the offensive centers era is pretty much over, and dwight aint even good at it. Stagnant offenses do not work unless you center is a really skilled and resourceful guy.

I don't really care how the magic and stan contructed everything for howard to "shine" in Orlando. Because at this point it has become evident just by looking at what the guy is capable of, that it was the exception that confirms the rule.

Timberwolves are the 3rd worst offensive team in the league and the Lakers can't even slow them down. This is why I always laugh at those idiots who said their defense was bad because "they weren't involved enough offensively."

Rubio sucks. Minnesota's big guy thinks he's a beast and tries to post up all the time, but he's not all that great.

Barea is a good burst of energy, but inefficient and will hurt you a little bit 3 times for every 1 amazing game he has.
