Pretty obvious the way this season is going its going to be a Lakers Heat finals, which the Lakers will win in 6.

You'll give them OKC?

That's very kind of you but they WON that game themselves, so they don't need your approval on whether it should count or not

lakers are 5 for 5 in the nba finals using the kobe system. might as well call it 6 for 6 already. :applause:

I'm really enjoying the fact that this season had deteriorated to the point where 1 point wins over the pistons mean so much to laker fans.

From talking about 70+ wins to hoping for 8th seed

Where was the Kobe system in 2004 or 2008? And lol at counting the first three 'ships. More like the sidekick system for those Shaq titles.

You do realize that when you have all this hype and bullshit to be dominant and you then need a "comeback" that is far from 'the greatest comeback in NBA History' right? Of course you don't, you are a moronic Kobe stan. What is logic to you but a concept for you to urinate on?

If Lakers make it as 8th seed, they face OKC or Spurs. If Spurs, it may be without Tim Duncan. If OKC, it will depend on Westbrook's form. I think the Lakers will have a chance to win.

No matter who they go up against they will always have a chance, it really just depends on how they feel like playing at that particular time. However, I'd still say OKC would beat them in a series.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves....they're still in the western conference, and mathematically they still have a MASSIVE hill to climb if they want to even sniff the playoffs...

They now have LITTLE TO NO margin for losses or errors....they almost lost this game today.

JBrizzy
02-04-2013, 01:02 AM
I haven't seen anything this season that makes me think the Lakers have any chance of post season glory this year.

Every time that they have played not-horribly, the Laker stans overreact.

They recently beat OKC. Who cares? Cleveland just beat OKC. They have beaten a few poor teams recently.

If they make the playoffs it will be a mini-victory but all it would really indicate is that they are slightly better than whoever the edge out (Houston or Utah).

They are not contending for a title. They are contending for the last play-off seed. They are the Detroit Pistons of the West.

oh the horror

wow really, not as the 8th or 7th? Pretty sad considering how 50% of the league makes the playoff, a league which is massive right now due to the 90s and 00s expansions.

Since Howards Injury, Lakers turned a 5 point lead vs the near bottom seeded of the west into a 6 point loss. Then had a convincing win over a low ranked team missing their 'franchise player' and a not so convincing 1 point win over another low ranking team. I wouldn't call that flourishing...

Seems like they equally suck but the Celtics were not favorites to win a title like the Lakers

Celtics 9-8 vs. the West
Lakers 9-8 vs. the East
