I think Lebron wants to do it but he also wants to blow it away / revive it, thats the problem.... becase he probably knows the ridicilous expectations as everything in the dunkcontest has already been done... i mean if Jordan or Dr J or Dominique were in their primes today not even they would be in the dunkcontest for the same reason, its just played out, they cant win the dunkcontest today doing those dunks they did as many have done those & can do those today (and probably even better).... there is nothing we havent seen before done over and over and over.... dunk contest died somewhere in the early 90s... after that a player by the name Vince Carter popped in and officially ended the dunk contest for good with the LAST couple of creative dunks we have not seen done before.... once you see something like that you want to see something better... not worse... and unfortunately thats impossible unless we get some guy that can dunk from the top of the key or do a 720 or something........

James White will probably be able to dunk from the FT line, not as good as he was able to do it when he was 20 but anyways.... then what? He is a distance dunker / one leg high flyer (his two foot vertical / dunks is nothing equally special), he is like Julius or Lebron that way.... and 30-31 years old....
