Ray Allen has been absolutely awful for weeks now. I heard he's just 4 for his last 28 shots and that's not surprising. And then you add the fact he has ugly turnovers at the worst times and his defense is atrocious. He's been a black hole on the team. You can always count on Allen having the worst (or one of the worst) +/- on the team on any given night.

I cringe when Allen enters the game off the bench.

It's not a coincidence that he missed the Clippers game where Mike Miller and James Jones saw minutes replacing him and the Heat looked much much better. I heard the Heat are using Miller sparingly saving him for the playoffs. He's a better defender, very good rebounder, and a better passer than Allen... and the way Allen is shooting lately, a much better shooter than Allen
