Isnt there an nba rule about not having sleeves?
I would think having a tight fighting jersey w/ sleeves would make it awkward for an nba player who is used to not having that incumberence.

They represent the Bay, so they're paying homage to those tight shirts gay dudes wear in the club.

I'd actually wear a Knicks version of that like around and to the gym and shyt as opposed to jerseys, which there is never a good occasion to wear unless you are trying to look poor and stupid wherever you go. Jerseys don't even fit regular people properly so something like this appeals more to be and could actually be dope. Idk, opinions i guess

Idk i mean i'm 5'10" and maybe its just my specific height but I cannot find a real NBA jersey that fits me like a shirt and can be worn without the first thing people thinking being "damn look at that bigass jersey down to his knees practically" Or have 9 inches of jersey sticking out from under my hoodie
And even if i'm just wearing one with bball shorts I still look like a goddamn clown and i'm a pretty fashionable dude who can make clothes work. Something like these new ones would be way better. The nba jerseys you can buy are like practically a giant novelty thats not really meant to be worn regularly as far as I see.
Like, you ever notice how mexicans wear soccer jerseys around like shirts, and you could see how it actually looks normal and decent as opposed to the big and tall nba jerseys? Thats because they have sleeves, while still being athletically functional, and they look normal. I'd be down for something like that except for a sport I like :confusedshrug:
I think all 30 teams should offer these they'd be fly as shyt

Haha so much truth. It's true though, atleast with soccer jerseys there are proper occasions to wear them and they fit like like regular clothes. This would be a step in that direction.

not sure what the fuss is about. they are kind of cool. the USAToday article made a good point, a lot of people were outraged at players wearing long shorts in basketball but in the end it faded away. As long as it doesn't affect the players' play, then whatever.

I think this is really, really bad.
It looks like he's wearing a (compression) T-shirt underneath his overly tight jersey. Also, the shirt is really tight but the short is loose. Not only do the shorts have pinstripes, while the shirt does not, it looks like its made out of a totally different fabric, just like the ASG jersey/short combo, which was hideous last year and will be again this year.

I'm not sure what to make of this. When players wear those tight black tees coming out of injury I thought it looked pretty cool, but this just seems too forced. I remember when jerseys were popular streetwears people used to wear NFL jerseys on top of their hoodies, so Reebok actually made a jersey/hoodie combined sweatshirt. I don't think they sold too well..

Instead of calling it a "2"x2" patch" or whatever it is they'll change it to "3.5% of jersey space" or something. Then in 2023 they'll be wearing full sleeves.

[quote]While company and team officials tout the uniform's technical attributes (even with sleeves, the jersey is 26 percent lighter than the Warriors' regular jersey) the introduction of sleeves has a practical application aimed at juicing sales of NBA fan gear.
Though fans can certainly wear NBA jerseys during all seasons with shirts underneath, they seem far less consumer-friendly than their sleeved counterparts in the National Football League or in soccer leagues worldwide. (As a jersey consumer, I own five football jerseys, two baseball jerseys, and a half dozen soccer jerseys, but haven't bought a replica NBA jersey since I was in junior high, largely because I shun tank tops.)
The sleeved NBA jersey is Adidas solution to that problem.

So basically they are trying to make more jersey sales by making their jerseys more "wearable" for anyone that isn't fit or tall. Makes sense from a business perspective, but I still think it's stupid.

Yeah that does look stupid as f***. Why would they do that? Hell, even the color of yellow they used on the shorts is different than the jersey... it's a darker tint. Did they purposely decide to make the uniforms not match as much as possible?
