So true, and the late 90s Rockets were the worst of them. They straight up looked like some type of kid's pajamas or circus attire. They were just coming off a championship too and already has nice looking uniforms. This Miami Vice color combo needs to happen.
I think Miami had this in mind when it was first established (Vice was a contender along with Heat when deciding on the name), but probably changed their mind since they didn't want the same colors as the Dolphins. That said, it wouldn't hurt to have these as alternates.

I didn't know that ... quite interesting Vice was considered as a name for the team. I understand for image purposes why they wouldn't go with that but it would've been pretty cool if they kept it.

These would be the most unique color combo in the league by far, and also undoubtedly IMO the most refreshing. I hate that they aped the Bulls in the late 80's and early 90's and rode off the popularity of the red / black colorway.

The Cavaliers had some great alternates in LeBron's last couple of years there.

I love the Knicks new uniforms for this season.
