LJ is Larry Johnson
LBJ was LeBron James, his original Nike stuff said that and it recently morphed into LJ
I guess history has written Larry Johnson off as LJ, and replaced with King James.

As a competitor Im sure he would have loved to compete against MJ (the best), more so than anyone..... but to be compared to MJ all the time in anything he does and some even consider him to be better than MJ is something else.... thats disrespectful towards MJ and even towards Lebron as he is building his own legacy his own way...
Im also sure most of us know MJ is and has always been his idol/rolemodel and he always was not afraid to mention his crazy praise for him, about his greatness, about how everybody should retire his jersey and so on.... thats also i assume is one reason for why he doesnt want to be compared to MJ all the time, out of respect... for him like he said it he is the GOAT and even one time "Black Jesus"..

Jordan playing PG in 1989
March 21, 1989
Doug Collins decided to move Jordan to the point guard spot against Seattle on March 11, 1989. He finished that game with 15 assists. Two days later, he had a game of 21/14/14 against the Pacers in just 30 minutes of playing time in a 32-point blowout win. He reached the triple double mark in just 21 minutes.
Jordan continued to play at the PG spot until the end of the season. In these 24 games he averaged 29.3ppg, 8.9rpg, 10.6 apg, 2.4spg. Between March 24 and April 14, 1989, he recorded a triple double in ten of the eleven games, including seven consecutive ones. In the game he didn’t record a TD, he finished with 40 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds.
In this game, he has 16 assists against the Lakers and ties his career-high which was set in his rookie year. (Three days later, on March 24, he had 17 assists at Portland which remained as his highest.)
In the first 3 quarters of this game he rarely shoots the ball and feeds his teammates. In the 4th, he scores 12 points and leads the Bulls to the victory.
When he can top this stretch, then he's on to something.
should have sed that in 2003, not 2013. too late..
He did....
He also said that MJ was his rolemodel/idol because of his work ethic and so on and thats the only thing he took from him, he said the only player he patternised his game after and wanted to play like was Penny Hardaway and Magic Johnson, Penny was and still is his favorite player of all time (not MJ).......... still, nobody compares him to Penny.... never did... media was all about "The next MJ" and so on...

T-mac was beyond KB in 2003. Kobe's achivement has always been consistent excellence (for 2 decades). Karl Malone of SG + 5 rings.

Agree. This is another reason why Lebron is so much better than Kobe. Lebron is his own person and does not try to be MJ. Kobe on the other hand imitates MJ with his style of play to the way he talks. Creepy really. Bron is who he is while Kobe is trying hard to be MJ.

I think he meant he is his own Player an maybe media is starting to make too many comparisons that is making him uncomfortable. The Difference between Kobe and Lebron is KObe was a Poor man's Jordan wannabe while Lebron never tried to play like Jordan and has his own Unique game and is truly one of a kind. 20 years from now people will be saying their will never be another Lebron but some will try and compare some physical specimen to Lebron.

theyre not all trying to be a past great
Why is it that when a star is great he's always compared to mj.I get kobe with his mannerisms, being a sg,imitating mj,and being the lone wolf type that hes compared but all these other players are not and dont play like mj,they're not even sg.
If people are comparing stars to past greats it should fit the position or playstyle.

OMG look at the introduction to the game, the music, the energy, everything was so great, so much fun. Made me go back in time to a GREAT, GREAT ERA. So many pizzas were ate by me and my friends in front of the tv watching those magnificent players.
True men played back then, true rules were part of the game as well. True Referees, true commissioner, Everything was the TRUE. No championship was being fabricated, being bought by corrupt people, corrupt players.
