Honestly sick of this "take your time" horse shit. Rose needs to stop being a ***** and come back. He is clearly ready, he needs to accept the fact that the only way to try and get back his star level is to PLAY in actual games.
Can you imagine if Rondo comes back before Rose?

Why? You know they aren't beating the Heat. If they traded for KG or someone of that magnitude, then I can see why to get him ready for the playoffs.
Get healthy Rose and become MVP x2.

Sad to say it, but in his recent interview with KC Johnson, seemed like he was genuinely ok with sitting out this year.
He's going to go through 5 on 5 contact practice after the All Star break, so hopefully in a few weeks after that, he'll be ready to go.
Of course, no one's expecting MVP Rose right away, but it would be nice to see him on the court to end the year off.

AP = Hamstring graft
No two tears and surgeries are the same. I wish Rose did the hamstring graft, but nobody knows how much the doctors had to work with, as far as where the tear was in his ACL.

Yup - it's dumb. There's also the fact that two ACL tears often have different rehab duration.
Rose is not Wolverine. His body takes as long as it takes to heal, and Bulls fans calling him out is hilarious. This is your franchise player - a guy you hope to lead your team to contention for 10 years, and you want him to rush back for what's essentially a lost season?

Whats significant about it being a hamstring graft?

He says he can't dunk.
That basically says there are still probably huge complications that will severely inhibit his game even if he does choose to play, right? :confusedshrug:

He can't dunk in stride. He can dunk off 2 legs, but probably still going through mental hurdles with dunking off one leg.

Whats significant about it being a hamstring graft?
A few things. One, it means that the tear was off bone enough for the hamstring graft to be an option. Two, hamstring grafts come with a quicker recovery time. The risk with the hamstring, is an increased chance of the body rejecting it as a permanent transplant.
So much about Rose's surgery and tear was private, so we'll never know why exactly. It's his privacy, so I don't fault anyone for not making the information public. But with the amount of ACL tears, I wish more of the documentation and solutions were made public.

The bulls bench got stripped after he tore his ACL. Even with him returning I don't believe they'd be a contending team just playoff fodder.

The thing about playing with knee injuries, most injuries really, is if you play before you're 100% ready you increase chances of a setback or injuries to other parts of the leg.

Yes sir. You over compensate with the other leg. Hence, why a lot of players get both knees injured.

When you come back from an injury like the ACL, your biggest hurdle is gaining back trust that your body can do what it used to.
Also if he comes back and is not 100% or better you compensate with other parts of your body. Suddenly his right knee is hurting from putting too much pressure on it. Or his back his hurting him because of over compensating for the (previously) injured knee. It's a snowball effect basically.
D. Rose has a good 10 years in the left in tank, why risk a couple months for a decade?
Not to mention that an 80% D. Rose isn't good enough to beat Miami this year. Bulls need help and a 110% healty D. Rose to win out the East.
EDIT: Guys above me posted while I was typing.. same idea though

Why argue with trolls that are obviously just trying to get a rise out of you.
I just saw one of Utah's top therapists (treats Jazz and REal SL players) for a mallet finger ailment I suffered playing ball.
I asked him about D. Rose's condition, the benefits and causes of doing the surgery the way his surgeons did it and AP's, and of his prediction.
He basically told me that coming back too soon/before he is ready, and genetically, how a person scars (thick scarring may be more durable but have less flexibility, thin scarring is more flexible yet more fragile) are the most stringent issues.
D. Rose got the best medical attention money can buy. The rest is up to luck and genetics because there is no doubt in whether or not he is a hard worker.

"Bulls fans calling him out are hilarious" pretty obviously means, "any Bulls fans that are calling him out are hilarious," not "all Bulls fans are calling him out and therefore all Bulls fans are hilarious."Um, your words are pretty clear. It means exactly what it says. The context of which suggests that Bulls fans ARE currently calling him out. Which I don't see as the case. So it isn't "pretty obvious" I asked you to show where there are Bulls fans that are calling him out. Plus, I didn't say that you said ALL Bulls fans were calling him out, just that you are suggesting that there are some here doing that. Prove it please?
I have to back it up? I sort of just assumed you read the whole thread before responding to it, since you seem to be debating the fact that there is at least one Bulls fan in this thread that called him out.And who would this be?
